This store sells expired merchandise, so please check before you purchase. I bought Nioxn oil on October 7th but didn't open the box or use it till this past week. I noticed it had expired in September before I even purchased it, which the girl at the counter should have noticed. I tried to return it on December 9th, but was only give store credit which I didn't want, I expected a full refund, especially since they sold me an expired product. I was only 2 days past the 60 day return, which I have always been told when I buy sometime, I have 90 days to return. The manager wouldn't override it so this morning I called corporate, "Menard" told me I had to take it to the store and I explained I already had, so I asked to speak to his supervisor. The phone went silent, but didn't hang up. I kept saying "hello" and nothing. I called back, Menard answered again and it was a rerun of the previous call. The phone went silent again. How many shoppers check the expiration dates on beauty products? Most of them don't even have the date on them, but from now on, I will be checking and Ulta will no longer get my business as they are shady and have very bad business practices, ie, selling expired merchandise and not giving you your payment method refunded.

I stopped in to pick up a Gift Card for a Family member. The store was not busy. I walked up and was next in line at the register. I looked around and it appears to be a very large store with a LOT of merchandise. I noticed also that it was very clean and organized. There were several employees walking about helping customers and tidying up. The cashier's name was Megan. She was very friendly and helpful. I told her I was looking for a gift card. She showed me the ones closest to me and told me that they also had some that were Scratch & Sniff Hot Cocoa scent. Well that's the one!! So she got my gift card and put it in a card, I paid and she thanked me and I was on my way. She represented the Ulta Company nicely with her customer service skills!

Came in at about 15 mins to closing but had a clear idea of what nail polish color I wanted for my husband's grandmother... got some great assistance from employees and I was in and out of this place in 5-7mins.

Interesting that I can't find the Ulta Arden Way location on Yelp. Not sure this applies to all locations. I went in to find a perfume that I found online as in stock at Ulta. They have very little in stock. I found what I wanted nearby at Macys. Go to Macys!

Great place for beauty and self care products. I actually go for the convenience of Happy Returns. They accept returns from online retailers, and they handle the shipping back to the retailer. You also get an instant refund plus a coupon for Ulta. Win, win.

Every time I come to this location, the employees are always so rude or something goes wrong. I've never been greeted or asked if I needed help. They literally just stare at me and then proceed to talk to each other. It's literally always empty as well like if you were busy, I'd understand but there's literally two customers in here. I was ready to be checked out and there were two employees just chatting, as one of them was at the register, I awkwardly waited for her to say something and she didn't so I slowly walked towards her and she looked at me and walked away, rude lol.

I love Ulta. It's the one stop for anything you need beauty related! Some stores even sell MAC Cosmetics, which is my favorite make up line. The workers are always friendly and helpful, and the products are great.

I guess one of the requirements for working at this location is being absolutely rude to customers. I ordered my hair oil online this time around to be quick and when I went to pick it up the rude lady at counter rudely demands for my ID like it's the club and then gave me my products to "check" to see if they are right. However when I checked the safety seal on my hair oil was broken. I asked for a new one cause I'm aware that once opened this formula changes over time. So why would I want something that was possibly opened and already turned? She rudely States that the safety seal is barely broken and that it would actually be fully cracked if someone opened it. Well lol girl see pictures below on how a safety seal actually works and this product could still be fully opened without cracking the seal. The bottom was cracked enough so that someone could easily open it after this rude employee stated its "impossible" girl for real? Anyways this isn't my first bad experience at this ulta but it will be my last cause I'll order from Amazon after this clown employee experience.

Amazing experience with sales lady! Forgot her name, but she spent a ton of time helping me with my upcoming wedding. Will always go back to this store!

This Ulta is cleaner and better organized than the one in Natomas, but the staff were totally unhelpful and stuffy. Sorry I didn't come in already made up for errands.

Tonight, May 20th. Rushed to the store after an extra long day of work. I know I'm going to arrive right at closing but I'm out of shampoo and desperate. I pull right up front seconds before closing. Grab my wallet out of my work bag. Someone is walking out so there's hope. The door is already locked (obviously done before closing) but there's still a customer being rung up. One employee walks right by the door and ignores me. The customer finishes and walks out, I poke my head in and ask if i can run and grab my shampoo, it's all I need. Manager says,*snarky voice* sorry the register is closed. Now, she absolutely did not have to help me, and the sales woman did not have to acknowledge me. But why not show some grace? We've all been there, racing to get somewhere to grab something quick before closing. It would've taken one of the 3 or 4 of you about 3 minutes of your time. And it's time on the clock anyways.Looking up other places to get my shampoo because I'm not going back to Ulta.

I came in because Ulta is having a month-long promotion on fragrances, self-tanner, and some other products. There were about 6 fragrance testers out...3 of which were empty. Not super helpful when you are having a promotion on fragrance. The two employees on the floor were gossiping about coworkers, and when I politely interrupted to ask where a product was, after 5 mintues of waiting for them to finish, they were visibly annoyed. Not wanting to deal with the rude floor employees again, I went to ask the cashier about a specific brand that Ulta is highlighting during the promotion, as I couldn't see any of their products out. She was very nice but informed me they didn't have any of that brand's products in stock.I left empty-handed and went over to Sephora.
