All my charges were dropped due to the duration it took to resolve when the local branch marketing manager got involved. Thank you! But a word of warning: I highly recommend taking the additional insurance from Zipcar or getting your own car insurance with the use of zipcar. Another measure: read your TOS and know that you are liable for damage even if you are not in the car, just like your own car, even if this occurs before the next reservation while the car is parked on the street. This sucks, I think this policy should be refined. I will be taking photos of all sides of the vehicle when entering and exiting it at any stopping point even though I am not sure if this will help.”

“Signed up in late Oct and stilhaven't gotten my zipcard yet. I've called 3 times and emailed once (no reply). The people I spoke with promised to send me another and it's been a month and no card. I spoke to someone else recently who said they would refund me and send me a confirmation email. No refund no email. Why did I even sign up for this? UPDATE: Customer support finally reached out, got me my refund, my Zipcard and helped me set up my account. Thank you.”

“It's our first time in Sacramento, the car worked just fine and it was really clean. We took it to San Francisco and back to Sacramento, no failure, I highly recommend Zipcar as we could not rent in Avis or Hertz since the driver's license had only 1 month and they request one year, and Zipcar asked for none of that and got approved within minutes. The location is wonderful if you want to go to the safe credit union convention center or anywhere nearby.”

“I've used Zipcar for 15+ years, and always find the cars clean & working well. Great customer service, too. I almost always get a live human within 30 seconds of calling, and they always solve my problems well, sometimes even when it's my own fault (e.g., helping me unlock the car after I've gone over the deadline and shouldn't have access anymore, so that even though there's a late fee, I can at least extend the reservation and drive home!) Got rid of my car because there were always several Zipcars closer to my house than I could ever park my own car!”
