Getting the car was great everything after has been an absolute hassle.
I got a simple 2007 toyota camry for 7k, told I'd get registration in 2 months via mail. Didn't come in they said they'd call me back today since I'm pushing them too.
I have a loan for the car and they were supposed to find me a loan provider. The first one didn't go through since my bank doesn't support plaid. So the had to "refinance" it. Changing nothing but a loan provider. I was not told anything of a refinance charge my loan provider claims was added onto my loan.
Neither company is willing to give me the paperwork of this new loan of 5000 and my signed document is 4700 and the interest of three years to be 5280. On top of that you can't actually get a hold of this loan provider half the time
The cars great. They sure as hell made a quick sell and didn't do any of the convince work to make the used car worth its price as promised. I've been to the building more than three times on different complaints and all they do is blame something. I'm sick of dealing with this.
Edit: after speaking to a different individual they're working on getting it done. Will delete review when I get the registration.

I don't usually give reviews- but after learning that enough reviews can make or break businesses- especially car dealerships, I decided to. .. .We bought a 2013 Ford Explorer 1 year ago. Cosmetically, it was beautiful and we were assured there were no issues with the truck . The carfax "seemed" ok. We were convinced to buy a warranty-for 1500 and told "if anything happened, it would cover everything ".....I didn't have the car 6 months- when 1 of the cat converters played out. 2,500. 3 weeks later, 2nd cat converters went out. 2,500 more (the 1500 warranty "doesn't cover exhaust ?)..... The weather gets warm and I attempt to use the a/c for the first time, the car starts "shrieking" and rattling so hard that it nearly shut itself off. No matter how hot it gets, I no longer turn on the a/c...the "nails on the chalk board" shriek-coupled with the intense rattle is just too scary. Not to mention, embarrassing. This past weekend, while accompanying my sister to a mechanic shop for her own car, I thought to ask 1 of the mechanics there to please check the warning sensor on my truck that came on the day before- something about checking fuel line- or something like that...They did a visual check- then plugged up the computer device thingy that shows where misfires are- they explained to me that the "fuel neck is broken. Cant be repaired. Id need a new one- i asked if that were wh I have so much trouble pumping gas? (I literally have to fight with my gas tank to get the gas nozzle to fit inside before pumping gas....a problem since I had the truck--ive got zero mechanical skills- so I assumed it was "just the way Ford built their trucks-- and not thar there must be a problem ). They said "yes" and also explained about an "evaporated leak" and it's why I have to fill up every other day. I called "Alpha warranty" and of course, they don't cover that, either. My BF- knowing my discomfort with "problematic" things was sweet enough to offer to get me out of that explorer and into a newer one and asked me to first, call thrifty-- tell them of the issues ive had since day 1, the thousands of dollars hes had to spend on repairs and see if theyd be willing to work with us on the 2017 they currently have on their lot...i called and spoke to josh and got the expected "id need to bring my car back to them for inspection to see what they can do"....blee-blee-blee-blah-blah-blah... Berkeley to sacramento "just to see" is quite a commute. I should say that initially, i did have a very pleasant buying experience with thrifty. Because of a miscommunication, they did knock off a little bit of the selling price and we really appreciate that. but, buying a car and owning that car are 2 entirely different experiences, but should be equally great. The 3 stars are for the customer service we got while buying. I wish i could give more- because i liked them better than i did anyone else at any of the other 5 or 6 dealerships we visited, But the over 6k in repairs out of pocket (mind you, with a 1500 warranty in hand- thats been absolutely worthless) is not my idea of "excellent"... The other 2 stars are dependent upon how well we get treated when we go back to swap this thing out for another. Stay tuned for the update.

I just recently purchased a Chevy Tahoe from this place. Less than 2 weeks of having the vehicle the check engine light started flashing. Indicating a serious hazard to be driven. I took it to my local chevy dealership and there was a misfire in cylinder four an internal evamp issue resulting in 1500 in work. When I called and spoke to my representative he acted like a completely different person from the salesman who sold me the car. Even laughing at my problems.. I would not recommend anybody to do business with them. Their cars look clean and the engine will be detailed but the internal problems are more than likely serious. Please ignore whatever response that this company posts.

I bought my truck from there last month. They where supposed to fixe the belt, cv axels, and the window they had my car for 6day and only fixed the belt and said they fixed the cv axels and never did. And fixed the window for one day and it stopped working after one day there service department sucks. And there's no communication between the service department and sales at all. Very unhappy with this company

good service, they allowed us to test drive with no hassle and they also approved an extra amount for our trade in, josh helped us out alot.
I come back 2 weeks later with complaints. one, when we bought the car, it had had some wear and tear with it that we agreed yhe warranty would fix. 2 weeks later we find out after no answers that the car needs a new radiator and suspension parts and these facts were never disclosed to us. they had nice service originally but I wouldn't rely on how well taken care the cars are or if they'll tell you what is wrong woth them (like they should.)

Josh took care of me and found me the right car at the best price and also helped me find a reliable insurance to drive off with, all in one day. I definitely would recommend him to anyone going to thrifty car sales.

Made an appointment to drive a car both via text and phone call. When I get there they say that the car is being taken out and it pulls up as I am talking to the gentlemen. No point to making an appointment. I drove over an hour for this test drive just to be turned away.
