Edit: So people still don’t pick up after their dogs even in the dog park! Kids here have no manners! They can’t keep anyone in the office I believe we are on manager #5 now since December 2022. The residents are some thing else! There are a few good ones my neighbors are pretty good! I just walked our dogs and there was a small dog loose and a young child maybe 9ish trying to get him while a man (dad Im guessing) just watched and he struggled to get his dog! Absolutely insane to think people do this.
At This apartment Rent is too high for everything to be broken and the trash/food/bones on the ground. Staff is nice but washing machines in unit and on site laundry broken all the time. This is the second time our washer has broke down and last time had to way 3.5 weeks for it to be fixed and this time we are going on a week. And the dog park still not safe for dogs. It’s right by the freeway off ramp and large dogs can still get under the fence even where the “fixed it”. Not fix just lazy cheap mesh to make it look fixed! I’m highly disappointed in these apartments and just waiting for the day we can leave for good!
P.S scared to post I don’t want them coming after me for this but this is my experience and every this is true.

I miss living here. They have beautiful landscaping, pool area, washers and dryers in units, a gym, and a dog park. The management and maintenance teams are very helpful and patient with their tenants.

Hey everyone, I wanted to provide an in-depth update on my living experience at The Davenport. It's been a challenging journey filled with various issues. From dealing with floods, overflowing trash, and parking woes to encountering dirty laundry rooms, a neglected gym, not safe dog park and unwanted pests like mice and rats, the list seems endless. The security concerns are alarming, with incidents of stolen packages, attempted break-ins, and suspicious non-residents lurking around the premises. The apartment itself feels outdated, with mold problems hastily concealed by repainting.
The manager Deija’s behavior has been far from satisfactory. The incessant calls post my notice period have crossed the line into harassment territory. The manager’s conduct, including spam calls and unprofessional emails, has only added to the frustration. It's disheartening to have to navigate such immature and unprofessional behavior, especially considering the manager's age. The situation escalated to the point of involving the new property manager and expediting our move to a new place.
Deija’s threatening behavior and odd voicemails have been unsettling, to say the least. The lack of responsiveness to critical issues like flooding, mold, and broken appliances further highlights the management's negligence. The thin walls, combined with the manager's disregard for residents' concerns, create a distressing living environment. The manager's egotistical attitude and unprofessional conduct, including unauthorized entries and unnecessary attitude, have only added to the frustration. She’s gone as far as threatening to “ meet me outside the office”. It’s safe to assume she’s completely unaware my husband works law enforcement.
The security situation, with broken locks and attempted break-ins, poses a serious threat to residents' safety. The need for improved security measures and responsible management practices is evident. It's essential to address these issues promptly to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for all residents. The only positive were my immediate neighbors that were very kind and polite.
Overall, I would strongly advise against moving to The Davenport. It's been a nightmare dealing with all these issues and unprofessional behavior. Save yourself the trouble and look for a better place to call home. You don’t want to come home to your apartment door lock broken, mice, rats and trash everywhere. My apartment flooded with water from the ceiling THREE times in two different units. I just want to make sure you all have all the information you need to make the best decision for your safety and peace of mind. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need more details. Also, try viewing reviews for “Wedgewood apartments” for more honest reviews of the Davenport apartments before the rename. Stay safe, everyone!
I will be attaching MORE photos and videos very soon.

Apartments are nice but it has been the worst experience sense I have moved in. My bathroom flooded twice, there have been bugs, and my upstairs neighbors are loud and have dogs that howl 24/7 waking my kids up and nothing has been done even after multiple complaints to office.

Unprofessional/Shadylast Thursday I called to follow up on my app. I spoke with Gabrielle (the leasing manager) at that time and she told me I passed my screening and she was waiting on my boyfriend's screening to come in.Once his screening came in she told me the next step would be her emailing us the lease and the payment portal so we could get the deposit paid and the apartment taken off the market until our move in date. Friday,Saturday, and Monday morning I DID NOT hear from them so I called Monday afternoon. now when I speak to Gabby all of a sudden there's an income issue. keep in mind they have all the paperwork they needed(including proof of income). If there was a problem why didn't I hear about this problem Thursday,Friday, Saturday,or Monday morning. if this was a real issue why didn't Gabby bring it up Thursday or go as far as to tell me what our next step was once his screening came back. Gabby said she would make a decision by 4:30 and call.I'm still waiting on that phone call.I understand if you choose another applicant but don't lie to get out of it and keep people in limbo until they figure it out themselves.SHADY SHADY SHADY!

As a resident, reading these low reviews is very disturbing. We need to have patience with every new management because they are either in training or trying to grasp on things that were not done or in process of getting fixed. Our new Property Management, Gabrielle, has been handling situations in a professional manner and a priority list of issues to address that previous management left incomplete plus new issues that arrives. I know this because sitting with her for 5 minutes, she is constantly taking incoming phone calls and putting out fires. My daughter has encountered Danielle, in the office that can be very helpful as well.I must give my hat off to our maintenance crew, Andrew, who is running with his head chopped off but please understand how the system works. If parts need to be ordered to fix a problem, it has to go through the process of approval. Andrew has to put a request to purchase any part, then waits for the approval to purchase or to pick up a part, that requires a purchase order to buy. Sometimes a part is not in stock with an approved vendor. The approval process is between Corporate, Property Management and then to the maintenance to pursue. Now, if there is a major renovation, it can get complicated because professionals have to give a quote of what is expected to fix a problem and again go through the corporate office for approval. A purchase order is given to get that job done, sometimes in house maintenance or outside source. But, there is always an element of surprise that can occur, which requires additional approval. Ask the right questions and it will be answered. As residents, we break a lot of rules. I read reviews about a lot of situations that is not only management faults. Like the main gate is always broken. Stop hitting or jumping over the gates when closed. Once you notice the gate is not working, put a maintenance request. Simple!Residents complained about memos being set out as if management doesn´t care about fixing maintenance issues. Management sends out memoś because there was a complaint reported.I read a review how our neighbors are fighting and management does nothing about it. This is apartment living and there will be arguments, but if you feel itś life threatening or physical, call the police. Then notify management you had to call the police. You might think that management is not doing nothing but management can´t evict a tenant by arguing with someone in their own household. If legal actions need to be taken, this is not to be discuss this with you, unless you are called in for witness. These matters are handled delicately and not everyone has selective word choices. My suggestion is to move where you will be comfortable living.Residents, we can all do a better job in maintaining our communal areas like the pool, the doggy park, the grounds, the laundry room and fitness room. Our manager does not have time to address issues that you should have read in your contract and signed. Example: All dogs on leashes, quiet time, no smoking on property, etc... Read your contractWe need the management team to focus on managing the property by addressing the maintenance issues, recruiting new friendly respectable tenants, collecting rents and monitor expenses. Be respectful and you will be treated with respect.Letś do our part to clean up after ourselves and follow the rules.

As a current resident of The Davenport, I feel compelled to share my experience with the management team. While they send out friendly emails requesting reviews and promising to make our home comfortable, my personal experience has been quite different. When issues arose with the electricity and roofing, I reached out to management for help and was met with empty promises and no follow-up. Despite their assurances to compensate me for the inconvenience and damage caused by their negligence, nothing was ever done. This left me feeling unvalued and unimportant, like I was only there to pay rent each month. To add insult to injury, the rent is already quite high, yet the washing machines and dryers in the laundry room are consistently out of order. It's frustrating to pay so much for rent and not have access to basic amenities. On top of that, my interactions with management have been less than pleasant. Their attitude towards me was rude and snarky, making me feel like an annoyance rather than a valued resident. In addition to my disappointment with The Davenport's management, I am also concerned about potential repercussions for leaving an honest review. As a resident who pays rent on time and abides by the rules, it's disheartening to feel like expressing my concerns may lead to negative consequences when it comes time to renew my lease.I hope that The Davenport takes my feedback seriously and uses it to improve their management practices, rather than punishing me for being honest. As a paying resident, I deserve to have a comfortable and respectful living environment, and I hope that The Davenport will work towards providing that for all of its residents.Edit: Additionally, I attempted to reach out to the parent company in hopes of sharing my experience with executive management. However, despite being told that someone would contact me, I never received a response. It appears that neither the management team at The Davenport nor their parent company value customer feedback or take it seriously.

I would give 0 stars if I could I 100% agree with the recent two reviews that were stated these apartments are filthy and disgusting, the management does not care about their tenants at all there has been reviews on here before and they have taken them off because they don't what people to see what's actually going on but just wanted to warn any future residents who want to live here that these apartments are close to the freeway it is loud and noisy also dangerous at night because of the homeless population close to the river, break ins do happen at these apartments with vehicles I've had my car broken into unfortunately even towed once because of the laughingly stupid parking permit system they have here.It seems that they do not care about their management team anymore because if you request a service or call them they will not answer at all ! Only one maintenance guy no management on site ever office is always closed it seems they have really gone down hill for a while now who knows how long this can keep going for all of the neighbors or people that I have talked to or came into contact said they do not plan on living here anymore and broke their lease because of the crazy and outrageous things that happen here please once again take your time to read the reviews as stated wouldn't want any one to go through the same thing.

They have horrible communication between their leasing office and the people who answer the phones. Couldn't even get an apartment tour that I scheduled

They don't return calls even when you leave messages multiple times. There's a random crack head that walks around shouting racial slurs and did I mention no parking ever? What about the package bandit? There's tons of broken stuff all over the apartment complex so watch your step. It's always loud, dirty and the gym is never open. If management sends out an email saying they'll be in office, it's not true. I've stood outside the office multiple times and days trying to see an actual person. Anyways, if you enjoy insanely loud surroundings, trash everywhere, no parking, a gym that's always closed, non existent management, random broken s*** everywhere while walking to your apartment.... Then you'll love living here!

I have the unfortunate experience of living next to this apartment complex. The noise, night and day, coming out of the parking lot is becoming unbearable. I should not have to consider moving just because I have lousy neighbors, especially when my own apartment building is fine.

Hi was hoping to apply to this apartment complex and I was having trouble with my application since this weekend because units kept appearing that were available and then went away and when I would log back in it would appear again.I tried multiple times to try and get ahold of the property management on site but it always went to some call center person out of state and said they would leave them a note to contact me. Did I ever get a call back? NO…. It‘s been almost a week and nobody has got back to me. It is frustrating when all you want to do is complete the application and my application is left pending and I just want to get more details about the specific unit but nobody can help.
