I have a Seth Thomas mantle clock inherited from Grandma, nothing unique, but sentimentally special. He was able to get the action cleaned up and working again so it can continue its job on my mantle. He is very knowledgeable in his craft and full of information to share.

The guy Mike is nice guy it’s open only Wednesday and I tried to buy a clock form him na she charged me 600$ and a mantle clock is 500$ and he showed me how the grandfather clock works good service good qaulitey but it don’t buy clocks from him that’s what I would recommend

I absolutely love this place. It is so much fun to visit and look at all the clocks. I brought in two clocks today for repair work and they were fixed right on the spot. Since it was Valentine's Day, I bought myself a beautiful wall clock. I highly recommend this place. The service is great and you can't beat the prices. The Clock Shop is definitely one of Sacramento's treasures.

I took my 1910 German-built grandfather clock in to only be cleaned and oiled because it was starting to lose a couple minutes per week. I was treated terribly by the shopkeeper who made me feel that he just didn't like me being there. He quoted me $1,600 and I was a bit shocked but it was obviousthat he didn't even want my business. I then went to a clock shop on Freeport Blvd where he did a cleaning and look over, fixed a few minor issues and charged $400.00

I appreciate the owner driving out to my home to look at my clock. However i thought $155 service charge was excessive given he was only at my location for 15 minutes.

I found The Clock Shop by googling "clock repair shops in Sacramento," and they were listed among the 10 best--what a great find! I contacted them about our regulator wall clock that had suddenly stopped (a new battery did not get it going again), and texted them a picture. The owner called me right back and said he could fix it by replacing the mechanism. I took the clock over to the shop, and they fixed it in 30 minutes! I give The Clock Shop my highest recommendation and gratitude for great work. A+++

Not a good experience compared to the last time we had our grandfather clock serviced. It cost $150 and the weights, pendulum and chain were polished. Here we were charged $950, nothing was polished, and the weights were replaced with lesser quality weights.

I loved visiting this shop to get a mantle clock for a retirement gift. The owner was knowledgeable and friendly and helpful. He had many clocks to choose from in a variety of prices. He upgraded the clock I bought and the recipient was thrilled with the gift. There's a fabulous mural of the United States on the wall made of license plates.

My husband and I moved to Sacramento fairly recently. We furnished our house in Arts & Crafts style, both modern and antique pieces. We wanted an Arts & Crafts wall clock for one room. We went to the Clock Shop, and were surprised by the selection. They have some really impressive antique clocks as well as reproductions, real statement pieces. Floor to ceiling grandfather clocks. Mantel clocks. Wall clocks in various sizes. Cuckoo clocks. It would have been great to have a place to put one of the grandfather clocks, but we'd already pretty much filled up our house. So, we found a very nice golden oak wall clock, modern but with an Arts & Crafts/Mission look. The owners were very helpful and spent significant time explaining a number of their clocks to us. If we ever need another clock, we'll definitely go back.
