We moved out of the Suncountry Owners Association and it was poorly managed and a horrible experience for us. The management team did not do our paperwork right in the pass they put us through the ringer of HELL. Which they kept sending us threatful letters last year. Come to find out we were harassed so much with their on going mistakes. Since we moved into this Suncountry Owners community it has been a nightmare of chaos. I had to follow up myself to help correct their mistakes on our account, HOA dues .It took me two days and 6 1/2 hours over the phone with a 2 way. Their staff truly screwed up with no communication from each other . We were dealing with a staff that didn’t know what they were doing and dealing their threatful letters and demands. This should not had happened to us. It happened several times Until I stepped in and I helped them corrected the problem. What we saw someone put our information into the wrong account. No apologies or a certified letter saying we apologize for their errors. Never help us with any of our concerns. This is the second time they made a mistake with our HOA dues. The community staff took a year for our bushes to be trimmed in the front of our house. Their new contractors were fixing the gutters and the exterior throughout the whole community and also our home. Which I have been complaining for almost 2 years. We had our contractor to make sure everything was completely done properly on time. Due to their management team dragging their decisions and always saying no to everything. When asking for a refund for the work that should had been done on their behalf. It was a no from the board stated they denied our refund they are so clueless to everything going on with us no communication at all. Wow! It was a coincidence what my contractor fix was near their gutters and the roof problems .The two years that we stayed, the board members denied everything all they did was sit on their butts and say nay and yay. Meaning NO. Then the manager would send us certified letters and letters denying everything. To me the management team was irresponsible by harassing and stressing us out with the mistakes from their paperwork from last year with the HOA dues from their lazy management team. They were irresponsible with our paperwork and not paying attention. The worst management team we have ever encountered in this community not a caring staff. Everything is a no for us. Our experiences with this management team was not ever a good fit for us It was a big disaster and they had multiple managers quitting during our stay. It was like a merry- go- round circus with these clowns of Management team inside the SunCountry Owners Association. I came in to make sure my concerns was addressed and I kept seeing new assistants managers and new Managers. Wow! New staff again. My concerns fell on many deaf ears. With their management changes. We suffered and paid money at the end. To many management changes since we moved in. first we were told don’t worry about it. We will take care of your concerns. The past Managers stated we are getting a new Landscapers company and a new roofing company. Basically everything I came in for and all the managers that I addressed all my concerns was fell on deaf ears and ignored. .We suffered at the end.Now the new Manager Niko comes and he sends my concerns to the board which were also past concerns and they are clueless to my concerns and now they denied it. I had to spent out $1100 out of my pocket. Due to the negligence of no communication with one another. Horrible horrible experience that we endured. I was told from multiple contractors. This is the Management team problem not yours. I paid any way because I had to complete the pending sale. What a big rip off not a happy past homeowner experience and folks be sure to keep your receipts. We had headache and they stressed us out dealing with these mistakes. The communication between the management team, board members was a zero in my eyes. Now, our home that we left looks perfect. Keep your receipts

I’ve lived here for 6 years. It was exactly what I was as searching for….a friendly caring community with wonderful neighbors. Sadly that has changed. Within 6 weeks I was almost hit by speeding vehicles on 2 separate occasions, my dog and I attacked by an unleashed dog and as I was walking my dog and taking a picture, a visitor told me to mind my “f___ing” business….in the background his car was parked on the street which is a violation on the HOA Rules. Visitors are to park in the designated guest parking areas. The atmosphere has changed!!!! Residents and visitors are not following the HOA Rules and Regulations causing an unsafe living environment.

I have been living in Suncountry for about 13 years now and never thought about writing an update until now. Maybe because during Covid, going to new places have been few and far between. So writing new reviews have also been few and far between. I can't say anything too negative about my retirement community. I have learned that I love living here even more now that I'm newly retired and making new friends. It is a mostly quiet and safe neighborhood to live in. I have to say "mostly" because Suncountry is nestled and surrounded by not so safe housing tracts nearby which can make some residents vulnerable if not careful. Entering this gated community, (complete with cameras and monitoring systems), is a breath of fresh air. The cute and cozy homes & landscaping are well maintained thanks to the hard work of the on sight homeowners association/management team. They are very concerned, caring, and helpful with the residents. The neighborhood is calming and quiet. Just right for us "old folks" (55 & over), that want to live in a more secure place where people care and watch out for each other. Yes, it has many strict rules and regulations. But these rules keep the area visually pleasing to residents and visitors alike! There used to be many activities available, but due to the pandemic, these have been temporarily cancelled for now. We have 2 club houses, tennis courts, 2 pools/spas, DVD & book library, walking paths, gated storage lot for RV's, patrolling security, and you can have small pets. Each house has it's own private little backyard that you are responsible to maintain. But the front yards are cared for by a professional landscaping company. Now that's a nice plus! The homeowners association dues aren't as reasonable as they used to be and slowly increase with inflation. But I have discovered that it's like that at many other housing communities. Besides providing all the amenities and activities we enjoy, it covers our hazard insurance, street maintenance, exterior maintenance of each dwelling, including painting and roofs as needed. There is always the occasional resident who break the rules or causes trouble for others. But the management team are on the ball to help homeowners whenever they have a complaint. All of the above reasons are why I have come to appreciate and enjoy living in Suncountry during my well earned retirement life.

The pools are lock down today because of a few complainers . I personally feel that this is a form of discrimination. The community must suffer for this , but yet we all paid the same dues.
