We came and ordered a sandwich and asked them to warm it up but they didn’t. The lettuce lucked unfresh as well as the pickles. She talked to us in a rude manner and crumbled our napkins when we asked for extra. This was a foot long that was supposed to be 13 dollars but came out 28. This is the worst subway we ever had.

Sadly today at 11:25 at this SUBWAY I was denied SERVICE. The store manager Kevin Gowens didn't like my attitude. First he would say he couldn't hear my voice and to be louder, but that's strange because he seemed to not have a problem hearing me in the first part of my order since half the sandwich has been made. Yes the sandwich is almost complete and all I am doing is ordering the ingredients, but I get nothing!I left, but came back after a few minutes to get his name. In our conversation we concluded that we both have attitudes, the only thing is he didn't like my attitude so I didn't get a sandwich. Big question mark!!!!!Sorry dude for ordering some green pepper and having the sandwich toasted. (LOL) What a strange SERVICE! Next time I'll just write down my order or order it electronically.I decided to go to that Greek restaurant across the street.I want to also add that the Store Manager while I was waiting in line ordered me to pass him the chips that were on the shelf. I am sorry, but I am not one of your employees. You do your job and walk around the counter to get the chips yourself. I was perplexed and froze while this other customer got on her knees to hand him the chips. #WWRamseyD

I really just cannot recommend this place.First off, upon our arrival a half hour after placing a mobile order, we were greeted by a dead (?) body face down right outside the restaurant. Next, despite my card being charged in the app, the mobile order was nowhere to be found. I then placed another order in the app while sitting in the restaurant, and, after my card was charged yet again, the order still not not be found. I showed the employee the app order and confirmed the store address but nothing could be done, so we bid the restaurant farewell, stepped over the presumed corpse (now face up) outside the store, and departed. In retrospect, if the cadaver (?) outside the store was not enough, the rundown atmosphere of the restaurant bordering on the unsanitary was enough to inform us that our business was best taken elsewhere. We ultimately found an excellent Subway (also on J St and just 5 minutes away), but this Subway (731 J St) needs a visit from the health department and the county morgue to collect the occasional dead body that drops outside it.

Placed an online order and they couldn't find it. Placed a second online order from in the store and it could not be found either. We gave up and left as we wanted to use a mobile only coupon for our order and thus needed to place it through the mobile app. Notable but not contributing to the rating was the person of unknown sleeping vs. dead state lying near the doorway on the ground without a tent or seemingly any belongings but what they were wearing and no one seemed to find that concerning...

The store had someone working behind the counter that was so rude that she had to cut off her guests ordering to say and repeat interrupting me, that I couldn't bring my bike in and that there no longer bicyclist friendly even though I had no problems on any prior occasion. There is also no place to park a bike even if you wanted to chain the bike up. It was actually way too much attitude for a guest to actually be there and spending money at this asstablishment. 7/22/23

Manager is a total b she thinks it's exceptable to waist her customers time with incompetent employees who can't even comprehend English. They seem to hire fresh off the boat s.n. who can't complete the task like making a basic sandwich. The owner is too cheap to use ac in the summer so it's very uncomfortable there. Typical s.n. operation so I'm not surprised.

Awfully rude employee. It was a hot day, and a gentleman (might have been homeless) asked if he could pay for a cup of water. He pulled out all the change he had, and the guy at the counter said, " No, get out of my store!" Luckily, there was a nice gentleman behind him who bought him a water! I understand if some people cause trouble, but how dare you act like that! No one should be denied water on a hot day!! What is wrong with people. I ended up not ordering from here and I never will!

Customer service is fantastic, quality of sandwiches are superb, and I’ve never had any reason to complain. If I did complain there would be no problems with my complaint being corrected! This area can be problematic; However the staff and management are not affected by their charming personality. Kamar and Kevin are amazing guys! Thank you so much for keeping it clean, fun and yummy ? oh yes I love the juice boxes and apple sauce in kids sizes. Never leave without a sweet treat cookie ?

Great place to grab lunch, the employees are friendly and give great customer service! They are also open 7 days a week, until 10pm every day!! Super convenient..
