Absolutely deserves at a minimum 5 stars, wish I could give these guys more.These guys are the only ones I can find doing the morally correct thing in a city whose industry has decided to screw over homeowners.HVAC in Sac + surrounding areas is a gated market. Contractors lobby wholesale suppliers to get them to not sell to homeowners, forcing homeowners into extremely costly repairs and replacements through said contractors.My heats inducer motor failed, a fairly simple fix with relatively cheap parts. I could not for the life of me find any other wholesale supplier in Sacramento who would sell me anything other than a run capacitor (a basic part that home depot also sells) and even finding that was a *****.Sam @ standard and the rest of the guys there are a godsend. Sam took care of me for this repair, we first ruled out the pressure switch then he had a new motor in for me within a couple of days.After a quick swap my heat is back up and running for only a few hundred bucks. This would have been a bare minimum of around 1200 to repair from a FAIR hvac tech. Likely 1500-2000 from your average as it couldn't be done in 1 trip and the standard labor charge in the area per trip is 250.Or even worse you could have had someone like bell brothers come out which would have inevitably been a "well how old is the unit, you might as well replace it" conversation into a double charged repair because they don't like doing anything other than full unit swaps.Sam & company, thank you. Keep it up, you guys are great.And any homeowner who doesn't understand how truly valuable the service these guys provide is, I hope this at least is a little eye opening.

I had been going to a parts place in Citrus Heights for several years. Every two years or so a small part would go bad on my dryer. Each time I went there I had to pay about $28 for the part. Then someone told me about a place much closer to my house– Standard Appliance - which at the time was right by the Safeway at 19th and R St. The next time that part went out on me I went to Standard. The guy who was waiting on me, asked what was going on. When I told him, he went and grabbed another small part, and told me that if I replaced both of these I probably would not have to come in again for a long while. The cost of the two parts together was only a few dollars more than the other place was charging me for just the one part. That was several years ago, and the dryer has worked perfectly ever since.

Horrible customer service. Waste of time dealing with this company.!they gave me the run around for 11 days. And the final straw for me was Sam ;the general manager. His attitude was very arrogant, nasty and appalling, after I brought this to his attention- he continued to chastise me. As a multi business owner I'd hate this to be the representation of my business. And if the owner Mario is aware- then that speaks volumes on how he runs his "family owned" business. Made multiple follow ups after they asked me all these questions just to respond with a hasty attitude after I asked why do I keep getting told different things. I'd never spend a dime here.

One of the worst experiences I’ve had. They quoted a price on the phone, and I go to the store and they’re trying to charge 1.5 times that price. Very misleading. Very disappointing and a waste of time. I guess you got a wonder why there’s no prices on any other items, so they can rip their customers off. And Stan has got to be the least professional employee I’ve ever seen. Very bitter guy that needs to find a different place.

I love this business has all the parts you need. The people are very helpful
