I have stayed at this location before and I’ve also stayed at different Marriott hotels pretty much my entire life. I was really disappointed because when I got into the room, we pulled the trundle out of the couch and we found a mattress with no sheet on it, but there were also bedbugs on the mattress at least 10 of them crawling around, I called the front desk and Danielle was working and she was very sweet and offered to me A new room, but the problem is when we went into that new room. It was under construction and nobody marked it, which was extremely frustrating! She finally got us into a new room after about an hour and had it checked, and it was good and there were no bugs anywhere. She told me that she put an email/request out to the manager about comping me, but the manager had never reached out to me. I finally had to ask on my last day of my stay to another employee at the front desk about being calm and they told me that the manager approved 50% off the first night. I felt for everything we had to go through with switching rooms that the manager could’ve done better and they didn’t even bother to try to talk to me personally. Once we got home, one of my friends we found is having rashes and symptoms from a bedbug bite, I have contacted the Marriott customer service email and I called yesterday morning and asked to speak with a manager again was told they got a phone call and was transferred to their voicemail and I still have not heard anything about a refund which is why I’m leaving this review. I wish there was more response from this Springhill suites and Marriott in regards to the situation

The location is very convenient because it's close to the highway but still nice and secluded so it's quiet. The rooms are very spacious and clean, the bed was really comfortable. The young man working the service desk that afternoon was really great.

The location was excellent and the rooms where very clean and comfortable.
Finn at the front desk made check in and check out easy and painless and was very kind and helpful. Definitely recommend staying here if you’re in Sacramento!

The rooms are clean and modern. The breakfasts are included and good. Overall a good experience! The only negative is the ac will shut off if it doesn't sense you moving around.

One of the best hotels in Sacramento. Close to everything, excellent, cordial staff. Quiet location (no freeway noise), and yet easy access to freeways.

Rooms: The rooms are always clean and well maintained. I have stayed in very expensive rooms that were not very well taken care of. This is not that.
Nearby activities: It's right inside Sacramento so everything is relatively close on one freeway or another.
Food and drinks: There's all the normal chains within 5 minutes. Plus if you look around on maps you'll see some gems like Falafel Corner.

The front desk staff were great, very nice and accommodating, the rooms were okay but not worth the price, and breakfast was eh...it's just a really small space to try to get food. Layouts of the rooms need some work.

Got to out room. Immediately the people above us were extremely noisy. Non stop! Stomping everywhere sounding like they were running a marathon. I spoke with the front desk about it twice and he called them and even went to talk to them in their room. They still were noisy at almost 9pm. So he said he can give us another room. The room we got was extremely hot and stuffy even with the air on. Could not relax and sleep at all. He said they could give me points for the inconvenience. Points are useless. Don’t think I will come here again.

The rooms may have had some upgrades, but are generally still older (with old tubs and old toilets and old shower heads). Compared to other SpringHill Suites, this one didn’t quite meet the same standards of excellence and could stand to have a true reno rather than a cosmetic one.
The rooms were clean though, and the beds comfy. I appreciated having a microwave too! But there were no frills to staying here, and the bathroom sink area was really small.
We found that the hotel was also quite short-staffed and it was hard to get anyone on the phone. For what we paid, and compared to newer Springhill properties that charged us less, this was a bit disappointing.
We will likely not be back, even though this was our third stay at the hotel and we had been happy enough to return previously.

Not having been to Sacramento in years we were unsure where to stay. Fortunately we looked up the reviews to this SpringHill Suites and we were not disappointed. The people that work here are beyond nice and helpful, the rooms were spacious and the location was close to everything we were looking for. Hands down we will stay here again on our next visit - Thank you!

Stayed here a couple of months ago when I was in town one weekend. All the staff members were very friendly, and the hotel was clean and surprisingly quiet for the weekend. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.5/5

I absolutely loved this hotel. I had searched several hotels in the area and they all had horrible reviews. This hotel was the only hotel that had good reviews. With that being said I was still very nervous about staying here. I have to admit, it was way better then I could have imagined. The receptionist was very sweet and nice. She let us check in a few hours early with no extra charge. The rooms very clean and big. The whole hotel very clean. In fact while I walked the hallway you can smell that the rugs were cleaned. I felt very safe. All the staff seemed very friendly. The room was pretty pricey but totally worth it. If I ever come back to Sacramento this will be the place I stay with my family.
