Smart & Final Extra! is a warehouse grocery store on Watt Ave that serves households, businesses, and community groups. The store is clean, very organized, and has easy parking. It carries all the essential goods, including groceries, supplies, produce, fresh meat, frozen foods, dairy, deli, baked goods, and vegetables and fruits. The "Extra!" means it is more consumer-oriented, offering a decent mix of both bulk and more family-sized products. It is a big store and the place to go for the largest size of something. However, bulk isn't always cheaper, so it helps to check the price-per-ounce. Most things are cheaper here, but not always. The app is useful for digital coupons and for doing price comparisons to other stores before you shop. The employees are always friendly and competent. The cashiers are friendly and usually very fast. The condition of the vegetables is usually better than a grocer, though there is a noted exception for a specific herb. The store is not a full replacement for a normal grocery store, with a more limited selection in some categories like candy. Overall, prices are fair and much lower than some grocery stores, everything is fresh, and the store and carts are clean.
Went I to smart and final for one special item and ended up completing my shopping list with the exception of ice. They might carry it but I didn't really look

The store is very good, only the parking is a bit dangerous at night.
