Howard Skalet at Skalet Jewlery, exceeded our expectations and timeline. We bought our wedding rings here 22 years ago. When we returned on our Anniversary to check my setting and upgrade my diamond, he made the experience so easy and effortless. At Skalet Family Jewelers, you get a sense of ease and trust you wouldn’t get anywhere else. Howard Skalet, was not selling us a product, he was guiding us. I am a nervous buyer and often have regrets after a big purchase (did I get ripped off). However, at Skalet Family Jewelers I know I can always contact Howard and get things resolved.

Howard and the team at Skalet are extremely professional. When shopping for my now wife’s engagement ring it was clear as soon as I started talking to Howard that this is who I trusted to make the ring. He clearly loves gems and jewelry, and has pride in providing top tier customer service. Never once did howard come off as a salesman, it was crystal clear that his only goal was to bring a beautiful ring into this world and provide myself and my partner with an excellent experience. I later ordered my wedding ring and my wife’s wedding band over email after leaving California and the experience was nothing short of spectacular.
If everyone did business the way Howard does there would be world peace.

If I could rate higher than five stars I would. Every time I'm in the store, Howard greets us with a smile and looks genuinely happy to help me out with whatever questions I have. I purchased two rings from Skalet and the design ended up fading a bit. I was really nervous to go back in and ask what can be done about it but Howard told us it simply needed to be re-ionized(?) and he was glad to do it for us free of charge. He even went as far as telling us about the process so we could look into doing it ourselves in the future since we're leaving the area. If you are going to purchase jewelry, this is the place to do it!!

Howard made my engagement ring and we had an excellent experience! We unfortunately had to send it back to be looked at and resized after I opened it. He addressed the issue/resized it and had it back to me within the week! Thank you!

4.5 stars!! the first time i came here it was to buy a plain gold band. i was able to "trade in" (if you will lol) two rings to apply towards the new purchase which was clutch! i got a bit more as a credit than i had been anticipating based on other estimates. the only reason why i'm knocking off half a star is because of two incidents where i had rings (full disclosure, purchased elsewhere; one was antique and one from a large online retailer) i needed to repair. skalet's told me a jeweler familiar with antiques should work on the first which was totally fine--it ended up actually not even needing repair!!--but my engagement ring needed the prongs tightened. skalet's didn't want to void the ring's warranty but i personally couldn't give two hoots about the warranty since i would rather pay a bit more to eliminate the middle man/large factory aspect. this made it very hard to establish a jeweler for ongoing maintenance/for wedding bands that wasn't part of a chain. HOWEVER, in all of our interactions howard was super courteous and quick to respond. sometimes visiting jewelers can be intimidating and skalet's was so kind--definitely set the standard for us going forward!!

I am so happy I found Skalet. Howard went above and beyond to deliver the perfect solitaire engagement ring with my sapphire. The workmanship of the ring is high quality and flawless. The customer service was incredibly professional and attentive. I appreciate the lengths they went to so that my ring was perfect.
