Came here to fill up last night. Another customer pulled up and harrased me and categorized me with people with similar rides not knowing if I’m to blame. I kept calm as the dude complained and gradually enraged himself. The person working the shift, I regret I forget his name, came after a bit and asked the other person to leave for harassing me. I wanted to say thanks. Your the type of good individual whome should be recognized by your employer for dedication and hard work. I’m sure we’ll run in to each other soon as I fill up gas regularly. Thanks brother

Stopped in to fill my own tires. A young man who worked there came over to ask if he could help and did all of them for me. So helpful, professional and polite. Would definitely come back for any work needed.

Made an appointment and had my oil changed here recently as it's in my neighborhood. My car has a specific type of filter that they had gotten for it. They were professional, courteous, friendly, and timely. Thank you for taking care of my car!

Had a terrible experience with Greenhaven Shell Service Center. I've had multiple oil changes which were fine until I needed an actual repair. Check engine light came on. Usually I would take my car to my normal mechanic, but I was busy and Mark said he would read the code to see if it was misfiring. It was and he kept the car to diagnose the problem. The next day Mark said it needed a new coil and 4 new spark plugs. He quoted me $1100 which I knew was way too expensive for that kind of job. When I asked why that price he explained that the spark plugs / coil were difficult to get to and it would take 4 hours to complete. I was extremely busy and needed my car back, so against my better judgement I decided to bite the bullet and pay to get my car back. Immediately after picking up my car the check engine light came back on. Took it back and they kept it a few days and couldn't find what was wrong. We thought it was a blown head gasket but Mark advised to drive it around and see if it was fixed. I did so and broke down on the highway. Had the car towed to my normal mechanic and they were shocked at how much Mark charged me. They showed me the spark plug and coil placement and explained how easy they were to change. They also showed me the O'reily's coil that Mark used...the absolute cheapest. My mechanic showed me a connector valve which was broken and glued back together too. Just shoddy work altogether. He was shocked that Mark made me pay the $1100 and was shocked he didn't give me my money back. Overall, just an absolute terrible experience and dishonest work. Mark is a nice enough guy, but clearly this shop is lacking integrity. I never leave Yelp reviews, but people should beware that you will get taken advantage of at this shop.

Excellent service! Mark was so kind and happy to squeeze me in even though I was late for my appointment! I've longed for an honest repair shop and I have found one! I would recommend this location anyone in the area or beyond. Thank you all for the reasonably priced oil change and the local neighbor hood repair feel! All other quotes were at least $20-$60 higher. You have a customer for life!

Wonderful staff and service! I've been coming here for years for various reasons, such as oil changes or other maintenance related issues. They are prompt, and have always provided excellent work on my car, which as as old as my son is...Will keep coming back, for sure! THANK YOU!!!

I have purchased gasoline from this shell for over 30 years for my family's boats and cars. For years, I would purchase new tires at the tire rack and bring them there to be installed, mounted, and balanced which they always did. Today I went in for the same service and spoke with Mark Hansen who apparently is the manager. His attitude and demeanor were sub par, and he told me that he was booked out a week and did not need my business. If he did not want to do it that's fine, he just didn't have to be such a j*** about it. Gas stations are a dime a dozen and I'm sure that there are other gas stations out there who will appreciate my business. I tried to leave a review on their website, but you can't do that without having an invoice # etc. I subsequently went to Les Schwab on Meadowview where they were both friendly and professional and took me right in with a smile. What a difference! To make things better they had a great waiting room with the Olympics on TV, and multiple tables and chairs.

After a failed smog check we took our van here for repairs. The diagnostic cost was high ($200 just to tell us what was wrong - even though we had the codes from the smog check). Then we were assured that the repair to the transmission was worth it because it was otherwise in pretty good shape overall. After we paid, and waited the 100 miles for the check engine light to go off, we returned when the light stayed on. At that point they totally changed the diagnostic. We were told the transmission was in ‘permanent failure’ and needed to be replaced. So the previous ‘repair’ was a complete waste of time and money. We did not utilize their services for further repairs, but do want to warn others that they are not honest or trustworthy.

This place deserves zero stars, and Mark, the manager, needs to be removed from his position. He is misusing the title by providing false and misleading information to the customers. Let me rephrase, female customers and people of different colors. I was looking for a car repair place that was AAA certified, and once I received their information from the AAA website, I called and doubled check with Mark if they were AAA certified. Once he confirmed, I provided detailed information about my car issue (AC), and he provided me a quote and gave me an appointment for 6/7. On 6/7 my car was diagnosed and Mark informed me there was a leak, and that the AC hose must be replaced and topped off with refrigerant. That day I was charged $89.95 for the diagnostic fee (with no AAA discount). He also provided me a quote ($192.40 for an AC hose remove & replace, $57.52 for AC Hose, and $86.90 for refrigerant). I went home and in about an hour, I called Mark to make an appointment. He told me that he needed to order the hose and will receive it by Wednesday, so it is better to come in on Thursday (6/10), so he gave me an appointment for 8.30 am. On 6/10, I took my car in at around 8:20ish and after waiting for like 5 minutes, Mark strolls over, looked at his paperwork, turns around to me, and says, “Oh, I haven’t received the part yet”. I did not say a word and he goes on to say, “Let me call the supplier and track it”. After being on the phone for 5 mins, I waited for him to be on hold, then I told him that once he is done, he should call me on my phone with the status. I left since I took time off from work to make that useless run. After 30 minutes on 6/10, Marks calls me and said that the supplier had canceled the parts that he ordered. He said that I had a few options: first, was that he can expedite the hose and get it by Monday (6/14), wait until Thursday 6/17 at no extra cost to me, and/or the KIA dealership has the hose at $140. I would end up paying a little more but will have a high-quality hose. When I asked him, “What is the difference between both of the hoses? One at the lower price versus the one that costs higher”, he wasn’t even able to provide an answer to that. He mentioned if I want to go with the KIA brand, then KIA can drop the hose off today (6/10) around 2 or 3 pm, and my car will be fixed the same day. I decided to go with the appointment date of 6/17. After giving it a thought, I decided not to wait for too long, and instead, chose to pay a little extra in order to get the AC fixed sooner. I called Mark back (6/10), and asked him if I could instead go with the KIA brand hose and get my car fixed the same day. He told me he will call right back after canceling the one he already ordered and call KIA for their parts. He called me within few minutes (now that I am thinking how someone can call me back so soon), and said he canceled the part and ordered from KIA. He also confirmed the same-day repair and for me to drop the car off at 2 pm. Before leaving, I called Mark to confirm if he received the parts before I drive out there, and he confirmed receiving them. At 2 pm, 6/10, I took my car back to the shop. After waiting for 5 minutes, Mark comes out, prepares my paperwork and I signed, I gave him the key and remembered that I was a AAA member. I mentioned it to him at checkout, “Can you apply that towards the labor?”. He instantly told me that they no longer accept AAA and that they were no longer certified. I reminded him when I spoke to him on 6/4, he confirmed they were certified and when I was there on 6/7, he forgot to include the member discount, so how come he is telling me something different. But he goes on to explain how expensive it was, and the owner decided to cancel it. I believe it is a lie because they still show up as AAA certified. Before I left, I confirmed if my car will be ready by 5 pm. (due to work limitations, see attached picture the continued part of the review).
