To whom it may concern: Please step up to the plate- the year is 2022 - if you have a joint account- why in the world do you have a "primary" on the account due to the first name listed when opening an account! It is time to meet up with the times. If I had known this when opening up an account with you, then choosing the person that deals with the business end would have been the better choice! #outdatedwithtimes

Ever since the so called merger of the two credit unions, I've had nothing but problems. Every time I login to the website I have to reset my password because the old one isn't correct??? I don't see any benefits to this place anymore. Likely going to change where I bank if the problems can't get fixed soon.

This is my second or third time to this location. I did not feel welcome there at all. I was helped by a skinny young girl with ugly black and silver glitter nails. She had asked if I would like my money counted, I have never ever been asked... if I want my money counted. After giving my money she didn't say anything. Not even have a good rest of your day.

I've banked with Schools FCU since 2011. Been a loyal customer. Really liked them. But then the past couple years something has completely fallen apart. Let's start with the "new" website. It requires multiple logins. Minor annoyance. Then it's just plain ugly. And hard to navigate. Why do you list EVERY account when I'm trying to make a transfer? Why not use a dropdown menu like any modern website since 2001? When I go to pay my LOC, there's no payoff amount. So I have to pay what's there (but I can't even copy / paste -- why did they decide to limit that basic functionality on their site? Who knows?), and then go back when the site recalculates the balance and then make a SECOND payment. Again, annoying. Then for the company account, they let you use a SSN or TIN, which is convenient. I wrongly chose to enter my SSN, which apparently doesn't allow you to access transfers or statements online. WHA??? So I had to go into the branch (waste my time) and delete the account and then recreate it again. What a pain. No where on the site does it mention that it would be better to use a TIN when setting up your business account. Oh, and they also forget to mention that business accounts get a monthly fee. The credit union philosophy is to not have to pay fees for accounts, but apparently business accounts are the exception. Pretty sneaky and pretty lame. Then there are the near-constant time wasters when I'm trying to use my debit card. The purchase will just be declined for no reason. I know there are funds in the account. So I have to put my purchases to the side, call schools (more time wasted), only to have to go into the branch to "reset" my card. And these are common purchases like at Walmart or Winco. What a joke of a bank. And then they changed my email address. I can't figure out how to change it back. I keep getting emails sent an old email address that I don't use or check. I updated my email online, and it shows up properly there, but their system keeps sending the emails to the old address. So frustrating. I've gone into the branch and "fixed" it four times now, but still it's wrong. How can these people be this incompetent? Then this just happened: I went to pay someone using PopMoney, and for some reason my account was placed on hold. I called, asking for the hold to be removed, but they said they couldn't because they couldn't verify my identity. What?!? I've used PopMoney for years, I've been a customer for years, and all of a sudden they forgot who I am? So frustrating. So I go and use BillPay to make the payment. The best was when I needed to make an immediate purchase for a last-minute business trip. Yet once again, my Schools debit card was declined. I was buying tickets on Amtrak. Not really a sketchy purchase, but Schools blocked it anyway. I had to drop what I was doing, run into the branch, wait in yet another line, only to be told that there were no holds and that my account was fine. I tried to make the purchase right there in front of the teller, and once again, it was declined. The teller spent 15 minutes on hold with customer service (they don't have a dedicated line for employees?), only to find out my email address hadn't updated in the system. This was part of their new website. So we updated the email, and again, the transaction was denied. Keep in mind, I have a train to catch. The teller was back on hold with customer service, only this time I looked at the screen to find that my 6-year-old address was still in the system. I moved and updated my accounts six years ago! Why is the wrong address showing up?!? The teller fixed the address, but the transaction still didn't work. So I withdrew my money from the business account, went over to Wells Fargo, deposited the money there, and used my Wells Fargo card to make the purchase. And wouldn't you know it? It worked. First time.

Not the best customer service like I had before. Someone must be having a bad day. Normally they would make small talks and even try to sell you a offer. I was in and out quick. The rep didn't even bother counting my money back on a withdraw. It wasn't even busy.

My husband and I visited the Calvine Pointe branch last night to become members and finalize a vehicle refinance that I had started online. It was our first time working with Schools, and I was so impressed by the customer service. Last night we worked with Stephen, who was friendly, efficient, and so very kind to stay late to accommodate my husband who was stuck in traffic. He provided clear communication about all the paperwork and made the whole process seem quite easy. Stephen exemplified the type of customer care that is so rare these days. We look forward to doing more business with Schools in the future!
