Safeway always has great deals and you really do save with using your Safeway card when checking out. Plus using their card is "Free" to sign up and get. Forgot your Reward's card? At the check out just put your phone number you have an watch those items for Rewards members be added on the lower price an saved. Who doesn't love to save money. Love that their beautiful arrangement of different types of flowers are reasonable too in price. But the best part is getting the app an get more items and saving you will see at the check out. Wow!

A little expensive. Especially on certain items. However they have what I want, always. Good bakery. Good produce. The florist does good, too. There was a long line and they quickly opened another register. Good going!

They have an app that they ask you to use to get the discounts they offer in store, however nothing ever rings up right. We have been to this location 3 separate times to have the coupons not ring up. This time a manager was involved. Who didn't even walk away from the counter to go look at the coupons, instead we had to walk and take pictures and bring them back up to the front. Then they proceeded to tell us how we need to read the fine print (you have to search for that too) to know that the coupon doesn't actually work. I really think if you have promotions posted you should be honoring it instead of picking and choosing who you are going to give it to. Be careful to anyone who goes to this location for the promos. Nothing rings up and they have to put them in manually, usually after they argue with you.

Needs more check stands open. Gift cards now have to be purchased at customer service and that is another line to wait in. I would not recommend the pharmacy. It's a shame it it used to be a wonderful store.

Safeway substituted a 3.15 lb rib roast for the 15-19 lb rib roast I had ordered. Despite the scheduled pickup time of 10 am on Easter Sunday, I received an email notification of delay only 5 minutes after the appointed time. Upon arriving to inquire about the delay, the staff provided multiple excuses for their inability to fulfill the order. The meat department claimed they hadn't received the expected shipment, while the customer service department cited the limitation of their scales, asserting they couldn't handle such a large quantity of meat. Notably, when I initially placed the order, I had specifically called the meat department and spoken to the meat cutter to confirm their ability to fulfill an order of 15 to 19 lbs, and they assured me they could accommodate it. However, they failed to mention any issues with scale capacity, which the meat cutter would have been aware of.

The employees here are so rude and hostile. Straight up. Scary to every kind of customer. Doesn't matter what you look like or whatever. They are nasty and mean. Safeway you are really sleeping on customer service and employee training. I work for Vons about 20 years ago and the company I worked for would have never ever ever tolerated this kind of customer treatment. Do you guys still have secret shoppers? Because if so they are not doing their jobs. I would love to volunteer for free. Because you were a company, I was proud to get customer service training from and bragged about it at every job I applied for for years. Even after graduating from college. I've told employers and interviews that my customer service skills and my public interaction skills were all things to your company and I am absolutely blown away that there is an entire store of employees acting like hostile bullies. Following people around who aren't doing anything wrong. Harassing people for standing in an aisle and shopping for too long. They refused to respond to me when I was asking if I could set my basket down and go outside to get a push card. They refused to let me add cash to my Capital One checking account, which that's how you add cash to it. Safeway you should be ashamed of yourself.

Safeway is one of the supermarkets where I do my grocery shopping often. They have reasonable prices, good quality, and good customer service. This Safeway on Arden Way is one of the Safeway near my work. So shop this Safeway many times.
The store is beautiful and clean. The employees here are very friendly and willing to help. I can park my car safely with all the security guards patrolling the parking lot.
