When I bought a rifle, I told the salesman that I wanted a scope mounted as well. I was told I would need to purchase the rail and rings and it would be a couple days for them to mount it. I agreed and left my gun with them to install. A couple days later, I came in to pick up after installation was done. I took my gun home and noticed there was already a rail in the gun case. After buying one for $35, I thought it would be an easy return for them to take the rail I bought separately, off and put the one I had in the case on. When I called them I was denied a return because the rail had already been installed so they refused to refund. I still have the tools and box the rail came in. If I would have known there was already a rail in the case, I wouldn't have spent more money.

Bought the P365 a few weeks back during their 09/28/2024-10/12/2024 sale/ad run. It was advertised with a "15% off" and was competitively priced compared to other stores, so I bought it. Come 10/13/2024 after the sale/ad run, I go back to check on the P365 price and it no longer has the sales tag, however, it miraculously became $20 cheaper than when it was advertised during their 09/28/2024-10/12/2024 sale/ad run! Pretty scummy sales tactic if you ask me considering that we now have to pay the 11% excise tax..

Recently Purchased a Springfield XD, it was supposed to come with 4 mags as a special and never received the 2 extra mags , I called the store and talked to the manger Mike. He said he totally forgot to put them in and told me to come back and get them, when I came back he gave them to me with a free Springfield hat as an inconvenience for coming back . Definitely Gonna buy more guns from them. Best customer service I have ever gotten buying a Gun and also all the staff is very friendly and willing to help you learn about anything you want to learn about guns.

Great experience. Staff super helpful and knowledgeable. Got a great deal on a buy one get one free. They will be my go to spot from here on out. Only thing bad I can say is the wait time can be pretty long.

I purchased a firearm and when I picked it up 10 days later, I found it on sale for more than 100.00 discount. I asked for a price adjustment and was denied. 35% restocking fee so a return is not an option. Attempted to contact manager with no luck. After many years as a customer, I have purchased my last product from river city

Hello went in purchased a used gun did my paperwork paid waited 10 days then delayed 30 days got letter saying just purchased a firearm reason delayed is gun I purchased was stolen after 30 days didn’t give gun to me beware there buying guns that are stolen could ruin ur career never walked in sold then any gun I purchased have paperwork to proof it now am with diff place and cleared got my weapon in 10 days u been warned

Had to return a gun today due to some unforeseen circumstances and the guys were very understanding and hassle-free.
Will definitely come back once I get everything sorted out!
A1 customer service I didn’t go 30 seconds in the shop without asking to be helped out :)

Nice enough staff, but I didn't like that I was overcharged for a window sticker without a barcode, they just made up a price on the spot. They sell used guns for full price whereas if you had sold that same gun to them they'd only pay you half.

Edit: they don't release on undetermined. So a gamble since CADOJ just decides to do that for people at random. Bad business.This place rocks, and they are an FFL07 so they do cool things.

First gun store my dad took me to and got my FSC there. Always great customer service and very knowledgeable. We consigned a few guns here and they were great with us every step of the way.

Ever since 2013, I've purchased multiple firearms and ammo from River City Gun Exchange and never had issues. I would always recommend everyone interested in buying to visit this establishment. This time they will lose a repeated buying customer and my recommendations to others. Keep in mind that I'm a service member that can shop at the Exchange on military bases where firearms are sold at a lower cost as well as being tax exempt, but I still chose to give them my business. All because they chose not to honor their staff words that was communicated to me. For a couple of weeks I've been inquiring about a firearm that was on their sales ad, before the sale expired I called to verify that this firearm will still be on sale when I was planning visit there shop, and the staff told me that they would honor the price even after the ad expired. I even called 2 days before I went in to make sure that when I came in we are good for the sale price. Got to the store and now I'm being charged $100 more because they chose to stop honoring the sale the night prior to me getting there. I spoke to the manager Nick and advised him what was communicated to me. He proceeded to speak to the general manager above him and came back to say there's nothing they can do but just give me a shirt and hat to make up for that $100 saving I should have received simply by honoring their words. It's unfortunate that they are willing to treat a loyal patron this way. He went as far as to say that if they had to honor every similar situation that they wouldn't make any money. I hope this message reaches the owner of this establishment to correct this concern. Until then, I will not continue to support this business.
