At first they were nice, but after 2 visits they weren't able to fix my washer. Then they no call no showed twice during the appointment time that they scheduled. I finally had to call another company.

Josh was easily the best in-home repair person I've ever interacted with. Knowledgeable, helpful, honest, quick, and funny. Would go out of my way to hire him back for future work.

Had an appointment scheduled through the manufacturer, confirmed via email. Day of the appointment arrives, no technician. I called River City Appliance to find out that they cancelled the appointment via text, which I had not opted into and did not receive. No other communication occurred to let me know of this issue, and no solution path forward was offered than starting over with the manufacturer.

Terrible. I am not sure how else to say it.
We have a washer with a warranty issue through RC Wiley. They were great on the phone. They tried to book a 1-5 window today. I told them I would not be available until after 2:00. she said no worries and told me she would do 3-6 and note this for the technician.
Today, on the day of service, the tech called me around 1:00 and said he was en route. I said I will not be there, but could get a neighbor to be there. He said no worries, I have other calls in the area that I will do first. He then said he would call me when en route.
At 2:05, I got a call from the dispatcher. She told me the tech left the area and I would have to reschedule. I asked how he could leave the area without calling me and when the window was 3-6!!
She kept telling me the window was not a guarantee. I told her he said he was coming and I had someone ready to be there. Now, I am left waiting another week, as I refuse to use this company.
When I asked her to transfer me to a manger, she said there wasn't one.
So, all that said, I would give no stars if I could. Major inconvenience, no service recovery and terrible service.

Josh of River city is the kind of guy who does not see a problem but sees a challenge. Our 34 year old refrigerator stopped cooling. And we thought it was finally time to get a new one until we met Josh from River City. His knowledge and dedication put us back in business and got our refrigerator cooling again. He is absolutely the best professional and personable repairman we have ever met. We will never call anyone else for any household appliance repair. Plus the charges were more than reasonable and fair. We would give them ten stars if we could.

Professional and fast. Communicated to let me know part arrived, confirmed appointment, and texted that tech was en route. Came in and got the job done.

Excellent service! This was the first time I used River City Appliance and I am completely satisfied.Our dishwasher wasn’t draining properly and I had called GECares who came out to service the day before and quoted me over $400 to replace the drain pump. I declined their quote.River City came out the next day and told me the drain pump did not need to be replaced and the water wasn’t draining due to a blockage in one of the tubes.The cost for River City was about 1/2 of GECare. The repairman was on time and knowledgeable. Everyone with whom I spoke was friendly and accommodating. Will use them again ?

Find another company, This low life company lied to the warranty company about trying to reach me, I called the lady Kay out on it and they called the warranty back lying again after I told the arrant and River city my availability. She hung up on my face, which was probably best because I was certainly going to give them an ear full.

River City Appliance repair is the best! They sent an experienced repair person who was able to diagnose the problem quickly. I ultimately decided to replace the dishwasher with a different brand. They were very helpful during this process from beginning to the end!

Joe was very friendly and professional. The water and ice dispenser on my refrigerator doesn’t leak anymore. I will definitely call them in the future for appliance service. Joe even vacuumed underneath my fridge!

Repair of LG Dishwasher that wouldn't drain. We requested service through Home Warranty so we were pleasantly surprised to deal with such a great company. The communication was excellent from the office regarding scheduling and timing. Repairman was friendly, knowledgeable, and communicated well regarding the problem which was resolved with a new part. It is great to know that there is someone who can handle repairs of LG appliances and is great to deal with!
