There is no hot water in the mornings. Takes up to 30 minutes to get warm water. They claimed it was full house and not enough for everyone. I heard from others who have stayed at the hotel in the previous months and had the same issue. And heard they were waiting on a part for heater?

I stayed here for a work trip. I can't speak to the price, because my work handled the booking. What I can say is the hotel is conveniently located in midtown, within walking distance of the State Capitol, several government agency buildings and the Sacramento Convention Center, among other places. There are several restaurants and bars in walking distance. My room, a one room suite was clean and comfortable.I used the fitness center on the second floor which was pretty well stocked.

Rooms: Room was nice, but I never had warm or hot water. It made it frustrating to shower.Nearby activities: Lots of places nearby to explore.

During my recent stay at the Mariott Hotel on March 5th, 2024, for our High School annual trip. Our group faced a recurrence of cold showers in most rooms. We had reserved around 45 rooms. Despite being told that a technician would address the issue, the problem persisted, mirroring a similar incident from the previous year 2023.Additionally, there was a delay in providing our group room access until after 5 pm, as the rooms were not ready. I appreciate the hotel's amenities, but these recurring issues and delays are concerning for a brand like Marriott.

Showers were cold - everyone was having issues with it and had even had problems in the past too. Staff tried helping but I hate having maintenance in my room.Loud - there are long term residents/families staying at this hotel who are socializing from room to room in the evenings.Staff is helpful - while they seem understaffed, they go the extra mile to try and help where they canCheck In was a nightmare - never seen so many people and their baggage waiting around to get a room. Check in began at 4pm and no one got a room until 5:15. First priority was given to top Marriott reward members, but even they had to wait over an hour.Rooms need a face lift - carpet lifting, mattresses have little life left, and overall cleanliness needs work.Rooms: Meh.Safety: Homeless is walking around outside the hotel, but I figure that’s normal for downtown. Liked that the elevators require a room key to access them.Walkability: Lots of restaurant options nearby, close to capital, and convention center is right there.

Nice hotel. Room was a little fatigued. Crazy expensive for a good location. Okay gym. Pool looks nice - it was closed. Typical breakfast, nice that they had gluten free gf options - mufffin / bread for toast.Walkability: Convenient to SAFE conference center.

I specifically stayed here for the hot tub. Both times in 7 days I went to try and enjoy the hot tub, it was not hot. The last 3 Marriot properties I have visited either did not have hot tubs like they advertised, or they were not working either. I'm considering changing my hotel preference because of this. Do better, Marriot!

Rooms: Room itself was great. The shower had no water pressure and the hotel furnished body wash was awful - it would t rinse off.Walkability: In walking distance of businesses, government, and a variety of dining optionsFood & drinks: Free breakfast was good.In the evening there is a bar. I sat there 5 minutes at the bar and got ignored. I left.

Stayed here for one night. Nice part of downtown. Lobby clean and spacious. Front desk welcoming and helpful. Parking is in a separate garage about 40 steps away (need a card key to enter and exit).Studio room on 7th floor was clean and well-equipped. Used the hotel gym which at 6am was empty. Good equipment - 1 bike, 2 treadmills, 2 step machines, some weights. Towels and water. Didn't smell bad.Breakfast offerings were standard but sufficient.Nice stay, would recommend for anyone in the area.

I loved my stay at a 2 bed suite. The accomodation was everything I could have hoped for. A corner unit with a nice vista of the state park. I came down for the California International Marathon and this was very conveniently located to the expo, shuttle, and finish.
