Been a member at REI since the 80's. Some stuff can be pricey but most of it is worth it. Just remember that w4lm4rt also carries some of the same brands at a lower price.
That said REI branded gear is very good and well made.

I always have a great experience with this store. Most of the staff that I encounter is knowledgeable and very helpful. Its also worth being a Rei co-op member for the perks you can get from shopping with them.i Highly recommend this store.

Prices keep going up up up. Love the gear there but now I shop here a little less every year. If you catch the sales it's much better. They carry good and very good gear. The very good gear is kinda pricey
