Upon entering, the front desk person warmly greeted me, and then they checked me in. There is a cubby for your personal items, shoes can be left on the floor, bring your water bottle & grab the required equipment. Dont be fooled about how easy the workout loosks. The instructor corrected my position and bam! I felt the difference: shaky legs, tightness on my calves, difficulty finding my blance, etc. An hour after class, I felt how sore my abs were. Give this class a try & if you dont like it, take another class with a different instructor. Your abs will thank you!

Did not have a good experience here. Classes don't feel inclusive to all body types. Instructors don't offer modifications for people who can't do the workout exactly as they instruct. If you are on the bigger side like me I would strongly discourage. I left every class with carpet burns because they rarely provided mats. I tried to cancel with plenty of time before the month renewed and they're making me pay an additional months membership. Left feeling they are more interested in getting my money than supporting my fitness journey.

I appreciated the first class. However, I can do this in the comfort of my own home. The instructor was nice, but it wasn't for my pace or comfort level.

I prefer the Davis location. Most Pure Barre's are owned by different individuals which make all the difference. I rated this location poorly because of three reasons. One being the the instructors. They rush the class and switch positions too fast to feel anything. They also may change your class without notice, for example: you book a Classic then they switch to a reform without any notice. Also, not a fan of the daily text and e-mails to come back from Frances. I know when I'll return and can book it myself in the app. Come on.. It's excessive. Second, the parking situation. It is terrible, little to no spots and when you do find a spot, it cost no less than $2.50. And lastly, this goes hand in hand with the parking, arrival. I understand coming to class late is disruptive, but one minute late and they boot you. They remove you from class and you lose a credit. This isn't a great way to run a business if you want to retain clientele. I enjoy Barre but I wouldn't revisit this location. As mentioned before, the Davis location is top tier, it is a bit further but way better.

I took an intro class with Kendra - it was fantastic! Very kind staff, they walk you through everything step-by-step so I didn’t need any experience before joining, and I definitely felt the burn! Highly recommend giving it a try.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend a class or hold any kind of membership. I wanted to highlight their communication. I value that in any kind of goods/services I partake in. So yeah, shout-out for that!

Read Pure Barre's 6-page contract very carefully and make sure you understand the fine print before you sign it.I did Barre3 for a couple of years and loved it, so I signed up for one unlimited month of classes at Pure Barre to try it out. After taking 4 or 5 classes, I decided it was not for me. The problems began when I tried to cancel my membership. I sent an email asking to cancel and was told I'd have to pay for a second month - $179 - even though I was not going to attend another class. I had made the mistake of not reading the fine print in the contract, which demands a 30-day written notice to cancel. Of course, that would have required me to give notice on the very day I signed up!The upshot is, there is no way to try out Pure Barre for just a month without getting penalized and having to pay for a second month. I asked if they would at least downgrade my membership to a less expensive one, but Alex Wright, who owns the Pure Barre studios, refused. He also refused to pro-rate that second month even though I had given notice nine days before the end of my membership term. All because I didn't read the contract. A nasty, expensive lesson learned!

Pure Barre is the first exercise class that I have actually stuck with. The teachers are positive, helpful, and there are women of all shapes and sizes. I was especially glad to see a new teacher who looks more like me!

Pure Barre is great at fitness motivation. They keep things exciting with different challenges and pop-ups each month. Instructors are personable and this builds an awesome community!

Pure Barre is such a good workout, low impact and great results when consistent. I love all the instructors who know you by name and come with enthusiasm and offer corrections when needed to get the best results. I feel like I'm always learning how to improve my form. And, I've made friends with many of the girls which is invaluable!!

This company took my credit card information and continues to charge me even though I put my account on hold, never asked for it to be restarted and have repeatedly requested that they cancel my account. I continue to be charged their exorbitant monthly fees and no one has ever once picked up the phone to discuss with me. Outside of their business practices, the only thing I liked about the studio was the location. It didn't smell great and I prefer the classes at barre method and other barre studios.

Top-notch program that will whip you into shape. You’ll join (mostly women) of all ages, shapes, colors, bodies, and fitness levels.LOTS of convenient times and locations for their classes... and can be booked using one of THE BEST apps for, well, ANYTHING I’ve ever had (screen shots of how nice it is included with my review).I’m often skeptical about chain fitness anything, but Pure Barre really nailed it. It feels ... personal and boutique. The instructors learn and remember your name on day one and ask about any fears, physical limitations, and goals.Sign up for their free intro “foundations” class online to try it out. It’s an hour long with about 15 min afterwards for a low-pressure explanation on pricing, and the opportunity for you to provide feedback.Kendra and Alex are my favorite instructors, but ALL the instructors are great at what they do. Which includes clear instructions, leading by example, and offering ways to modify exercises based on fitness levels and bodies. I’ve appreciated that they’re able to teach me to work with/around some unique physical needs — including a couple bad discs in my back — while giving me an absolute sweat-inducing, muscle burning workout.Try it! You’ll LOVE it.
