The food was amazing, server was nice, the place was nice. The prices on the menu wasn't too bad. If you have someone special that you wanna take out on a date, this is the place.

Celebrated my best friends birthday here! Sat outside on the patio with a beautiful view of the capital. We had the espresso martini and a gin cocktail that was perfect. We shared the artisan bread basket and the filet mignon and everything was delicious and flavorful!

We sat outdoors and it was a warm evening. There were so many flies but Prelude had some fly-be-gone machines that made the atmosphere bearable. The food and drinks were top tier. Would definitely recommend

This is the perfect spot to celebrate something special! We loved the drinks at the bar, our waitress and the food and drinks were on point. We will be back thanks Sacramento for doing it right.

Our server was great, but the food was just so, so. Cocktails were great. Their version of a Caeser is not anything like a Caesar salad. Nice looking bar and restaurant. For the price of food these days we will probably not be back for the quality of the food.

Really great wait staff. Very nice indoor ambience. Outdoor patio was nice, except for the smell from the city outside. Food was very good except for the raviolo, which was a big disappointment. Waiter happily took it off the bill.

The food and service was excellent for a nice evening in town. The chefs prepared wonderful and cohesive dishes, and the front of house staff was some of the best in the Sacramento area.

Victoria was our server. We loved sitting outside and looking at the Capitol. our meals were delicious and served in a timely matter. We will come again when we have tickets for the theater.

We were excited to try this restaurant, especially since we love their other spot, Zin Grille, and the patio offers a stunning view of The Capitol. The Raviolo was excellent, and the risotto was amazing. The tiramisu was incredible, and our waitress, Ashley, was one of the best we've had in a long time—her service was top-notch. We already can't wait to go back!

This restaurant is someplace we had wanted to try, and we were very impressed with the food, the service. Watching the capitol building light up as the evening got darker was lovely. Great place for a special celebration!

Menu was very limited and seasonal so what we went for the fried burrata and other items we saw on a menu from 2 months ago wasn't on their current menu. That was a real bummer. Drinks are $20+ which isn't a good value. Over all we would have enjoyed it if the menu items we were seeking were available.

Food, drinks and services were on point. We set outside patio area but inside is beautiful as well. This is a perfect place for a date night, or with girlfriends. And walk over to DOCO.

My experience was absolutely fantastic! The food was out of this world, and the service was exceptional. This was my first visit to Sacramento, and I've already decided that it's going to be a must-visit spot every time I'm in town.

We absolutely enjoyed the food and ambiance at Prelude. Patio seating was nice with the view of the capital. We loved the appetizer of Shrimp and andouille sausage. The tuna was fantastic as the main course.

Great quality food and service! We tried the beef carpaccio and tuna tartar for appetizers and they were both very delicious and fresh. For dinner we had the ribeye steak and Ahi tuna and they were both amazing!
