For a phone-first company, I had a bear of a time getting anything done over the phone. I called two bad numbers before finally getting the real Pods service line for help during my move. Both times I tried to leave directions for my Pod dropoff/pickup drivers on the first leg of my move, I still ended up having to go out and direct them around the road work I tried to warn them about ahead of time, making me think calling Pods after the initial quote is a meaningless action that accomplished nothing. However, the Pod was ALWAYS dropped off and picked up on schedule, everything was in good condition when my full Pod arrived at my destination, and everyone I spoke to was really lovely and kind. This would have been a slam dunk 5 star DIY moving experience if phone communication hadn't broken down during an already stressful time--but again, everything else went off without a hitch. 3.5/5 from me.

I had an amazing experience with PODS for my recent move! From start to finish, the process was smooth and stress-free. The delivery and pickup of the POD were timely, and the staff was incredibly professional and helpful throughout. The container was clean and spacious, fitting all my items perfectly. What I loved most was the flexibility—it gave us all the time we needed to pack and unpack without feeling rushed.
I highly recommend PODS to anyone planning a move—it made the entire experience so much easier.

Pods was very easy to do business with. From when I called them to set up our order and every other call in between, everybody I interacted with was friendly and professional.
The drivers that came to our home called to let me know when they’d arrive. Darron was the final driver that picked up our Pod empty. I wish there was a way to go back and recognize each driver we interacted with. Every one of them was friendly and took care in delivering our pod empty, picking it up for storage, delivering it to our new home and when they finally picked it up empty.
Pods will absolutely get our business again if we need storage for any other reason and I will recommend them a hundred times. Thank you for helping make a very stressful move much easier.

My Mother passed away, and I live in a different state. There were family items that we needed to keep in the family and originally considered driving across the country (with my son driving). Then I realized that PODS was an option. PODS is so much more convenient. We packed up things we wanted to bring, but furniture and boxes were loaded by Move4Less in Bedford, OH.
The POD was delivered on a Saturday, loaded on a Monday and picked up on a Tuesday to go across the country.
==> My only thing I would like to say is that when you pack your POD, you should consider taping cardboard where furniture could rub against other furniture during transport. We did use blankets, but not heavy quilted packing blankets. Also, we used ratchets to secure various "levels" of items to prevent as much movement as possible for unique pieces of furniture.
The curio cabinet was totally enclosed in cardboard, as there are side glass panels, but some of the larger pieces of furniture had small damage with rub marks where furniture did moved slightly during transport (2500 miles!). This is just a FYI to make sure that you are happy with everything when it reaches it's destination.
The PODS driver in Sacramento, Sierra Mobley did an excellent job, and was very professional and courteous. I do not recall the drivers that we had in Ohio, but both did an excellent job with the POD placement, especially since there were overhead wires leading to my Mom's house.
And watching PODZilla is quite amazing!

Excellent service, convenient, clean, and made our local move so much easier! It is a bit pricey however when compared to using a uhaul it is worth it!

We moved across the country, MA -> CA, and drove one of our cars for sight-seeing. This was a first-time, rare opportunity to enjoy a cross-country drive. PODS helped make this trip easy and enjoyable for us, without the physical burden of hauling anything.10/10 would move again with PODS. Especially for moving a 2-3 BR home, it was an excellent choice for moving ourselves minus the actual transit of belongings. So, we had control over how we pack our home and PODS did the "heavy lifting".Another move & storage company offered to pack and move our entire home, but that totaled to slightly above 2x the price of PODS.Shout out to the "PODZILLA" operators at both the origin and destination. Y'all were outstanding!
