816 U St, Sacramento“The most magical store owned by the kindest people. High quality clean skin care, super comfy cute vibe for parties, and affordable healthy indoor and outdoor plants ?”
“Really interesting assortment of trees you don't see elsewhere. Workers were pretty informative on their products. I mainly was looking for some fruit trees that are easy to take care of.”
“This is a wonderful Green Acres! Good selection of full sun and shade flowers. And a nice selection of house plants. I loved the variety of Halloween pumpkins, too. The nursery is neat and clean. Much improved since a few years ago.”

1423 47th Ave, Sacramento“My boyfriend and I were looking for a small bonsai for our place to keep because we just recently lost our dog and slowly learning to care for something again. After not finding something at Home Depot and a few local plant shops, we were looking online and yelp and found there was this place that specialized in bonsais. We got there and it didn't really have a sign at entry but I had read on yelp a lot of people mentioning how to enter the business etc so wasn't hard for us to find. There are lots of options to choose from the workers/probably owners were helpful and helped us choose the right one for indoors. We chose a little jade plant which was kind of pricy for a little one. I did like how the worker/probably owner helped up wire the plant so that it can grow and shape as desired. Just another "con" to mention is their business hours are limited.”
“I was helped out today by Andrew and he was very knowledgeable! Love all of the beautiful and rare plants here. Come with a propagation and trade from their propagation wall!!!”
“Very nice place. Decent prices. Got my Japanese Maple here for less than $20. The tree was incredibly healthy and nice as well. I go to both this one and Green Acres. Whichever one has what I need.”
“Highly recommend this company, you can buy online and hope you get what you were promised or you can support a local family owned business and know what you are getting and walk out with it. As the owner of a local tree care company who has been in business for 24 years I can tell you if you are an arborist, tree worker you need to check it out they have invested in you and have what you need and they don’t own a tree service that competes with you. If you are a homeowner you are lucky enough to have the professional grade tools with actual experts helping you at the same price as the giant warehouse company that you always have to make a second trip to!!!, you will not find a better company staffed by working owners and from top to bottom people that are experts and truly care. In this day and age it is very hard to find dedicated craftsman that back there products and honestly care about your experience as a customer. They just keep getting better!”

1700 I St, Sacramento“The workers at propagate are so helpful! I have now brought in 3 of my plants that needed some love and they helped diagnose them and repot them. And it was all free besides the supplies they used in store, like soil and a plastic nursery pot which was never more than $10. They also helped make a drainage hole for a little pot I brought in and only charged me $2. Would 100% recommend bringing your plants here. They have a good selection of plants and pots as well.”
“I don't understand how these guys get bad reviews for service. They've always been super helpful and courteous when I'm there.Just bought a few dozen Grove Bags and they were friendly and nice.”
“Excellent company to work with. This is my 4th time using Utterback The customer service this time around was outstanding I needed my delivery done 1st thing I am last Saturday and she made it happen! Thank you very much
Il be back soon.”
“These guys are the best. We've ordered many loads of soil and gravel over the years, most recently in October 2023. They very carefully get the truck onto our narrow driveway and put the dirt exactly where we want it. The last delivery the driver went in the bed with a broom to knock loose soil stuck in the truck to make sure we got all the dirt we ordered. The soil is great, and grows great plants from seeds - not just ordinary seeds from the grocery but heirloom seeds from Kachwee Seeds and Baker Creek. Grows plants from all the nurseries in the area. We'll be getting some gravel in November and more soil in 2024. 100% recommended!”
“A gem for plant lovers at any stage of their gardening journey. From unique plants to garden decor and friendly, knowledgeable staff, they have everything to make each visit enjoyable. We’re thrilled to have our Botanopia products featured in such a vibrant space!”

6235 Belleau Wood Ln STE 2, Sacramento“Excellent family owned business. They've been around for around forty years. They only replace what's needed and the owner said if it cost more than it's worth, he'll let you know. I've brought a number of equipment in like Honda mowers and McLane edgers and now they run like new.”
“harbor freight has become a very good tool source.it took them sometimes but now I can say I like shopping there.much better that 20yrs ago when almost everything was junk. congratulations harbor freight keep up the good work.”
“We have ordered bark from a couple of different companies and were never satisfied with the product until we found Roundtree Rock & Garden. Their deco bark had very little additional, unwanted materials and the bark all had nice size and color to them. We have used them a couple of times for deco bark and it has always looked great. We also used them for 3/8" pea gravel and were very happy with the product. As an added convenience, they deliver for free if you order over ten yards. The delivery driver is very nice and makes the whole process easy. I would highly recommend Roundtree Rock & Garden.”

4681 Fair Oaks Blvd, Sacramento“Couldn’t find native milkweed or romenesco anywhere. They have a large native plant area as well as beautiful veggies. This place is AMAZING! I have found my new home away from home.”

10600 Florin Rd, Sacramento“I am a gardener that has been in the field of lawn maintenance and landscaping for 20 years plus my father has been in landscaping since 1965. But just recently I have been going to Matsuda's nursery for plants and material. Yes, Matsuda's is geared more for the contractors than for homeowners. And the other reviews that I've read have been harsh and almost personal. But when I did go for the first time I was treated respectfully and they where also eager please. They also have a large variety of product and I have no complaints but that may be because I don't wear my feelings on my sleeve. Just know if you do go they are geared more towards the contractor. If you want people to serve you hand and foot go to Green acres and Pay more money. By the way, Matsuda's owns Green acres nursery.”
“This review is really about Jose Robles, who was the manager of Pages Fountains when it was open. I recently found Jose's number and so many good comments about him that I contacted him directly for help moving a large, heavy fountain. Jose got the job done for me quickly and in good order and gave us good suggestions for maintaining it, and I definitely recommend him. I echo Laura C's sentiments in that I hope Jose is able to open Page's up again. You can find Jose's Maintenance on Yelp under Jose's Maintenance ( yelp.com/biz/joses-maintenance-sacramento) and on Facebook under Jose's Maintenance and of course, on his mobile at 916-473-3732.”
“I recently (late summer 2024) bought some El Dorado Stone- Country Rubble- from Thompson Building supply. They were GREAT! I ended up going twice for my project, and each time they were helpful and courteous. They also have a huge and varied selection of materials. The "yard guys". were especially helpful. Drove us around, made suggestions, and took their time. No rushing me. In that regard, I need to give a special thanks to Jason. He was so helpful and interested in my DIY project. He even remembered us, altho there was a several month gap between purchases. I live in Solano county, and there are rock yards in Solano -- not nearly as big a variety, and rock yards in Contra Costa County-- condescending (cause I'm female and DIY?). Anyway, well worth the 1and 1/2 hour drive for me to go to Thompsons and be treated well.”
“Good selection of planters and decently priced. Located next to DDs with accessible parking right front of the store. A lot of merchandise were on sale. Also have animal planters for flowers”
“If you know, you know! Best place to get your nutrients and lights for your plants. Best prices in the game and most inventory in California. I highly recommend coming in there and asking for advice. They will not steer you wrong. A lot of experience growers, knowledgeable and helpful!”
