I was looking for a place to buy sea moss and found this place on yelp. I entered the shop and the owner was very friendly and helpful. He showed me the different kinds of sea moss they make. My favorite is the blue majic. This place has become a staple for me when getting sea moss and also certain skin oils/butter. This is a great place to go to get quality customer service and quality products.

I love this store. It’s Nice and clean, beautifully organized and it was easy to find what I needed. It’s well stocked with all kinds of hair products, and the customer service was outstanding.??

Great beauty supply owned and operated by Black people! Too many times I have gone into other beauty supply stores and been treated like a criminal as soon as I walk in the door. Often times, beauty shop owners have been rude to me and have treated me as if they are doing me a favor by taking my money. That is not the case at Nubian Family Beauty Supply. They are welcoming, friendly and helpful. The best part is you will be supporting your own people in an industry that is for us!

They are located in the African Marketplace on Florin, which is an experience in itself. But, I absolutely love this place! They have a great selection of hair care products for US, as well as braiding hair of multiple colors. My favorite part is the healthcare section. I purchased African Bitters, incense, earrings, and White Shea Butter in one shot. The owners are knowledgeable and very friendly. So happy to have finally discovered this gem!

Located inside a main building, (I walked around the strip mall before finally going inside) the brother behind the counter was very nice. The prices were very reasonable. I’m glad I went, and I’m going back.

5 stars+Faith was amazing from the initial point of contact through completion of my style! She was responsive, friendly and easy to work with. She handled my hair with care and my twists came out perfect. Great pricing, amazing service and an overall enjoyable environment. I will definitely be back!

This is an awesome small shop in my neighborhood. I was looking for a good moisturizer for my hair and they were knowledgeable about both hair and the products available in their store. I did not peruse the entire store, but did notice some herbal supplements. Prices are comparable to other beauty supply shops and the convenience for me cannot be beaten.
