Michaels is truly a haven for all craft enthusiasts and creative souls. From the moment I stepped into the store, I was greeted by a warm and friendly staff who were eager to assist me with my crafting needs. The level of customer service at Michaels is exceptional, and their knowledgeable and helpful staff made my shopping experience a delight. What sets Michaels apart is its vast selection of art and craft supplies. Whether you're into painting, scrapbooking, knitting, or any other creative pursuit, you'll find everything you need under one roof. The store is a creator's paradise, with aisles filled with a wide variety of materials, tools, and inspiration. The staff's expertise and willingness to offer guidance and suggestions made it easy for me to find exactly what I was looking for, and even discover new products to fuel my creativity. One of the standout features of Michaels is the range of classes they offer, and the best part is that many of them are free! These classes provide an excellent opportunity to learn new techniques, refine existing skills, and connect with fellow crafters in the community. The instructors are knowledgeable and passionate, creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, Michaels' classes cater to all skill levels and offer a chance to expand your creative horizons.

The Michaels store in Natomas has more regular carry items in stock than most of the other Michaels in the Sacramento area. So I like to come to this store when I'm in the area. The idea is to try to get everything in one trip. The store layout is the same as most of the Michaels in the region. It's easy to navigate and find the items I'm looking for. The checkout cashier counter usually has no or very short lines. I can get all the stuff very quickly.

Usually can say good things about Michaels; however, after aimlessly walking around this place for about 20-30 minutes, i’m not a single person asked me do I need help or if you’re looking for anything. Not even a good morning acknowledgement and I walked past the same six people over and over and over… after walking through the entire store, realized the items I was looking for wasn’t there. At least the team is getting ready for new holidays and the store is clean as always.

I'm glad to have Michaels available for craft and decorating needs, but I often find that I'm not actually able to find everything I need when I go to the store. Maybe I just have really specific projects I'm working on or there may be so many options now that it's hard to have everything in store. Luckily their online availability is better, but you may need to plan ahead better and may be paying shipping. If you're looking for more basic supplies or just looking to be inspired with creativity this is a great spot. They also have coupons and deals usually that help make crafting and projects more affordable. The parking lot can be pretty busy but we always find a spot easily. Also, if you head in after holidays you can find some great deals. Currently they have some Christmas items 60-70% off including some candles that smelled great.

Meg the need for craft supplies. Place was a little on slow side. Checkout was slow. Selection seemed low compared to Hobby Lobby

This Michaels store in Natomas is clean but a little disorganized. Some items are not easy to find. I'm here looking for some artificial flowers. They're poorly displayed and mixed with the other items in the same section. I finally found what I wanted, and the price was reasonable. The workers were a little hard to find on the sales floor when I was looking for help. However, the cashier at the checkout counter is friendly and moves the line quickly!

Pretty clean store and nice staff. I had some difficulty finding the right painting tools, they were split up around the store

I went there to buy a Studio Decor Belmont black frame 24x36... they had one left without the wrapper. One lady who claimed she was the manager with the tattoo on the back of her neck and her jaw moving from side to side really fast, without looking at the frame closely, said it was not a Belmont.. she said it was Studio Decor which I already knew but for some she said it was not the same frame. She failed to realize that Studio Decor was the brand and Belmont was the model. Another clerk without doing any research sided with her and said it's not the same frame. A third clerk did her job and scanned the barcode and confirmed it was the same frame. Still the manager said it was not the same frame. At this point I realized the manager was just refusing to acknowledge the facts and didn't want to accept that she was wrong. It should be noted that this whole time the manager was refilling candy boxes and never once took the time to professionally research to verify if it was the same frame or not. Very unprofessional behavior from the manager and a very rude and confrontational personality. I will never return to this store.

Michael’s store #5146 has such an AWESOMESAUCE manager by the name of ?Juana ?❗️Here’s why ?. I called the store on 9/30/23. Explained to Juana that I bought a sewing machine (Singer 6700C Heavy Duty) on 9/18/23 from another Michael’s store. After bringing it home, unboxing my machine, ATEMPTING to follow the photo manual just to PUT IT TOGETHER ??, watching YouTube video ?, after video ?, after video ?, after video ?, after video ?. AND even going to the Singer website and selecting my model machine to download the 44 page PDF manual. I was STILL unable to simply thread my machine INCLUDING the bobbin section ?. Manager Juana began telling me that she has two sewing machines at home, that if I didn’t mind her touching it. She wouldn’t mind showing me how to thread my machine. I THANKFULLY said yes please! She then asked me what model I had so she could take a look and familiarize herself with it before I arrived. Then proceeded to give me her availability! I told her all I needed to do was put my hair in a ponytail and I’ll be on my way ?! She said great asked for my name, and instructed me to ask for her once I arrive. After I arrived I asked for her. She then proceeded to show me with great patience how to thread my machine AND the bobbin. I left the store ever so grateful ? Thank you Juana.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful, but I couldn't find what I was looking for. I really appreciate the cashier warm smile and remarks. I will definitely go back there. Kudos!
