A fun trip to matsuda's! Love this Butterfly Bush I purchased there! The area set aside for non commercial buyers is plentiful!

I brought 7 lithodora to be replaced after they died. In the beginning I bought 14 and put them in the ground next to each other and half died they did not do the customer friendly thing and replace for selling me half duds. So instead of making up for the low quality plants they threatened to close my landscaping account. Talk about a power trip and awful customer service. God knows who is right and the facts are know by him. Matsuda's evil intent is evident. I just asked them to replace $20 worth of bad plants. They went all out murderous and vindictive for it. Consider that before you do business with them.

I am a gardener that has been in the field of lawn maintenance and landscaping for 20 years plus my father has been in landscaping since 1965. But just recently I have been going to Matsuda's nursery for plants and material. Yes, Matsuda's is geared more for the contractors than for homeowners. And the other reviews that I've read have been harsh and almost personal. But when I did go for the first time I was treated respectfully and they where also eager please. They also have a large variety of product and I have no complaints but that may be because I don't wear my feelings on my sleeve. Just know if you do go they are geared more towards the contractor. If you want people to serve you hand and foot go to Green acres and Pay more money. By the way, Matsuda's owns Green acres nursery.

Made my first visit to Matsudas this past Saturday. All the plants were large and healthy looking. I’ll have to go earlier next time so I don’t have to rush. The staff was very friendly and helpful!

I visited this location 4 times within one week. The first visit was amazing. So me and my wife came back 3 times more within the same week, but each time something went wrong unfortunately. The first time returning they changed their pricing and Phillip was extremely snobbish and rude. He made us feel like we didnt belong in that store. The next two times we revisited this store they were closed doing their business hours while they were supposed to be open. It stated on yelp and the hours posted on the door that they're open on Fridays until 9pm, however they were not open Friday March 22nd 2019 at 5:10 pm nor at 7:35pm this Friday. We visited once more on Sunday March 24th and absolutely hated our experience! We will never visit again! We hated everything about their customer service! Their employee Phillip just is not good with customer service while he is the only one in the store. If one of his co-employees or manage or lots of customer are present in the store while he is helping you, than he does better (not great but better). But if you catch him in the store with nobody else nor no manager, than you will experience his nasty customer service behaviors. His attitude is very draining nor does he give a happy vibe for your visit. I believe he does not enjoy his job nor this store. Concluding, Maybe if they started with firing Phillip and hiring happy people with customer service skills it would be a beginning to getting good results. Plus their pricing and deals shouldn't change drastically daily because if someone wants to return daily they should know what they're going to pay ahead of time. Last thing, if they're going to close within their open business hours, than post a sign on the door for why they are closed and updating their website would be respectable. Regards,

I've been purchasing plants from Matsuda's for many years and just love when the truck comes to delivery them to my front door! I am a California Licensed Grower which gives me the convenience to order direct through their website. On the retail side, Matsudas has a large variety of outstanding plants on their many acres to choose from. You will need time to walk through and pick your selections. Planning in advance on the location of the plants you are interested in always helps. Thank-you Matusda's for offering quality plants for the wholesaler/distributor and retailer.

I went here because one of my neighbours said that the prices were excellent since Matsuda's supplies plants to places like Home Depot and Target. When I walked in the lone person shuffling plants around barely glanced at me. When I asked for some help he hadn't heard of the some of the plants I was looking for and brushed me off after he'd pointed me in the direction of where I might find something. Most of their 1 gallon pots are $7.50 and I did buy a few things since I'd driven all the way out there. I was so mad when I stopped in at Home Depot on the way home [to buy some cheap topsoil] to see that some of the same plants I'd purchased directly from Matsuda's were for sale for about 3$ less than I'd paid and they had the Matsuda's supplier sticker on them. $#$@#$!!!! Luckily three of the plants I'd bought from Matsuda's were lavender plants known to calm and de-stress anxious and angry people. *update* - someone from the new Green Acres Nursery and Supply contacted me about this review. For any yelpers reading, this is a review of the old nursery that used to be at this location, Matsuda's. I'm not sure why my old review was lumped in with the reviews of the new business.
