Erica made me feel like a happy floppy noodle. Absolutely excellent massage with firm pressure on all my sore spots without any sharp points. If you’re looking to have your shoulders dropped down from your ears I couldn’t recommend her enough.

I would not recommend doing business with this location. The first red flag was when my mother (who has been a member since 2012) gifted me a credit to receive a massage and the employee at the front desk tried to convince me there was no credit on file and make me pay. She suddenly found the credit under a \\\"different\\\" telephone number once she realized I wasn't accepting her word as I was certain there was a credit on file. I never gave her another number to look up. Then she talked me into starting a membership to receive introductory member pricing, in which I did start the membership. However when I went back to honor the price she quoted me my total was $60 more than I was told initially. I asked to speak with a manager but there was no manager on shift or any shifts for the rest of the day which is unacceptable especially when employees are constantly saying \\\"there's nothing I can do you need to speak with a manager\\\", I called the next day to speak with a manager and expressed my concern telling her I felt deceived and manipulated and her response was \\\"there must of been a miscommunication because the sales person you worked with is our best employee and doesn't make any mistakes.\\\" So if you want to be treated like you're incompetent and can't interpret false advertisement this is the right location for you!

Do not sign up for a membership here or any massage every apparently. There updated membership requires you to be locked in for $85/month for 12 months. Regardless if you financial situation changes, if you need some time off because of a busy schedule, does not matter. You can't even put your membership on hold unless you have 6 months paid.

Update: After contacting corporate and the studio a second time, I am still locked into my contract. Do not sign up if you do not want to be locked in to an $85 commitment for 12 months. The fine print will not be explained so you will be stuck. The only option is to freeze for 3 months which then extends your contact an extra 3 months.

False advertising. I had purchased a 60 minute chemical peel and added a neck massage. They brought me into the room just after 3pm and asked me all the normal facial routines which I already discussed with someone when I signed in. Then the esthetician proceeded to tell me about all the different chemical peels they had even though she already said I would only get their beginners one since it was my first time. I guess that is what they call a consultation. By the time she finished the peel and did the neck massage (which must have been 3 minutes), she left the room and I got dressed it was 3:24pm! I was shocked. When I brought up the timing they said a chemical peel can't be 60 mins even though I've had many and I've never had one without a normal facial as well. She said it says it online but that is not what they do. So despite being on the website, my confirmation and the follow up email after I was done I should have known it was not going to be an hour? I would never have paid over $150 for my service if I knew it was going to be 20 minutes. It is not worth going here. I should have known because they had a same day opening. No respectable place would have that. Go here only if you are desperate and have money to spare. Nothing relaxing about this place and their beginners peel wasn't even as effective as my over the counter products I use. I almost gave this place two stars only because the staff were nice. But I still think just the one star is enough.

I came in today to get a massage and a facial. They were able to book me at the last second which was really lucky! I got a massage by neyisha who was amazing. It was the best massage I've ever had! I can't wait to come back to her! My facial was with Kristin, who was also great. She was kind and helped provide a very relaxing experience. I'm looking forward to coming back soon!

Horrible experience today. I have been a client for more than 10 years. Always book my next massage when I am checking out of one. Roughly one a month or so. Went to check in today and I was told my appointment was not booked. Of course lady in reception had no answer. Not her fault I guess. If not for having a great therapist that I want to see I would cancel membership right now

Horrible business practices. I chose to cancel my membership. I had 6 credits that were unused: about $360 I had already paid. However, if I chose to cancel, these credits went away in 2 months. Not to mention that because I missed a payment for an expired credit card, I was already a month behind. I had 1 month to use 6 credits. Good luck getting 6 appointments! So, they got over $360 and I get NOTHING!!! How does a business even function like this?!?! Don't sign up unless you absolutely plan to go every month and use your credits, or it is money down the drain.

I've been to this location so many times. It's a love hate relationship. They have great massage therapists on occasion then they leave. It's like a tease then you're left with new therapists who aren't skilled. They also offer facials/microdermabrasion/chemical peels. Same darn thing. I fell in love with my treatments with Lauren then she moved on. Granted for school but it was a complete loss for ME. Don't get trapped in their membership, or if you do, don't get too attached to a specific therapist. It won't last.

Sharing this very late. My interactions happened during winter 2020-2021.I had a membership. I was told upon purchase that the membership would lapse when my 12 months were up. Apparently they had changed this policy at this location but had never formally informed me. When I entered for my monthly visit, the person at the desk had me check in like normal and had just added the "changes to the policy" signature to the tablet without informing me that what I was signing was NOT just the standard check in and that there were changes that I needed to be aware of.They kept charging me for about 2 or 3 months past my 12 month term. The last month, their computer system or their employee tried to run my card, which declined. Because I didn't move money over because the membership should have been expired. When it declined, they ran it 4 more times, which declined every time. They decided, instead of calling me, to run it for less and less amounts until it charged. They drained the 17$ i had in my account, in the middle of a pandemic. Then they KEPT trying to charge me, and I ended up with 180$ of overdraft fees.THEN they called me. They were NOT helpful on the phone. I eventually asked for the manager who was even worse. She didn't apologize, she didn't recognize that her buisness practices had cause detrimental effects for me.She kept saying she "didn't know what happened" "I can't refund anything" "we didn't take anything" ect. Except they took the 17 for sure and had all those pending charges holding me into the negative PLUS the overdraft fees ontop. The manager was horribly rude and inconsiderate. She told me to call back when I could have an adult conversation.I was the one who actually gathered information on what happened while she did nothing to verify.I got covid exposure and couldn't bring my cancelation form to them in person without exposing innocent people, and they don't provide ANY contact information for locations and the big ME was competed unhelpful as well over the phone.I turned my paper cancelation form into their staff member (who ignored me at the door for 25 minutes, she would literally look at me then look away quickly.)I handed her my form and said "this is my cancelation form for your manager. "Idk what that staff member did with my form, but she didn't give it to the manager so they charged me AGAIN.I called back FURIOUS. They still refused to refund me, claiming it was my fault because I didn't "hand it in in time" to which I explained that I handed it back 3 days after the "cut off" with an explanation that it was late for the precaution of safety for their staff. That didn't matter I guess that shows that this manager doesn't care if you expose her staff to covid.I had to go to my bank and have them block any charges from massage envy because they were so incompetent. This all happened over 3 extremely stressful months. They never reached out to me, I always had to reach out to them and they were INCREDIBLY rude and had terrible service.I reported them to the Better Buisness Bureau, and they didn't even take it seriously. They NEVER responded to the BBB.If you have had issues with this manner and their staff i urge you to take it to the highest levels possible!!!I was warned by an ex manager of an elk grove location that this s street location had terrible management and in house staff and that they were the worst in the area. I should have listened. The ONLY good thing about this location was the 1 massage therapist I liked, Steven M. I had someone else once and I couldn't even stand that person, they did not check my preferences properly before we started. I have extreme anxiety especially around men in service or authority positions so I was 100% not comfortable stopping the massage or to offer up my preferences. That's why they update them on their tablets every time, to check for health changes and verify comfortability. If I could give this place 0 stars I

Therapist was nice, but massage was just okay. I went in for lower back pain and she spent maybe 5 minutes on my lower back, jf that. Also, the massage was 45 minutes, not the 60 I paid for. Disappointed.
