I called to make a service appointment for my Miata and the service advisor suggested a rear differential oil change service.
Well in my owners manual it states, as shown in the photos, this service is not suggested as a maintenance service it clearly states “If the component has been submerged in water, the oil should be replaced”.
When I called the service manager to try and give a heads up instead of doing this review I got explanation and excuses that seem to throw the book out the window.
I’m not sure if the answer is don’t buy Mazda or don’t use the dealer, but buyer beware.

So I’ve try to ask for a couple of jobs at Maita Mazda and always I get told I’m never welcomed at this dealership. Unsure why that is. I have never worked there but interested in Mazda cars but I’m think that’s very unfair. I can’t be a porter, lube tech, or even a detailer.
I’m never going to support the Maita Group as an organization due to people have a really big issues with me even tho. I’m just trying to always help over and learn as best as I can. I hope Mr. Maita is able to contact myself after this.

I have owned three Mazdas and LOVE the cars but do NOT appreciate the experiences we have had with the financing or service departments at all here in Sacramento personally.

Received great customer service from Alex L. At Maita Mazda. Went in for an oil change and a week later ended up purchasing a new CX-5 that I test drove while I was waiting. Alex was patient with all my questions and was very responsive while communicating with me throughout the week. Love my new car!

This place is absolutely professional. I live in Reno, 2+ hours away but I decided to buy my Miata there. I have been there 3 times since and they are absolutely professional and kind. It is a joy to drive to Sacramento even for a mere oil change, which I rather do living 2+ hours away even though we have a Mazda dealer in town. Kudos to all your team for such a wonderful experience, and to Mazda for the amazing Zoom Car I have.

The used car manager, Bruce, is awesome here. My wife got a used car off of their lot and we noticed a few minor issues a few days after our purchase and he was able to meet with us that same day and got everything taken care of for us hassle free. Highly recommend working with him if you’re looking for a used Mazda.

my mom & i were roadtripping from oregon when my car stopped running in Sacramento. we had my car towed here & rented a car to finish our roadtrip. Christian was great and very efficient. they diagnosed my car, found that i had a warranty that covered the entire cost of service and had it finished on time for us to travel back home. overall great service & very helpful to us when we were really worried about being away from home longer than we planned. thank you maita mazda service team.

i m unhappy with their all service. I bought a Mazda Cx-50 but it has got problems with engine. When i call them to service, they are giving the appointment after 1 week. Ridiculous.

Had a great time. I literally walked in. Talked about what I wanted. Seen the car. Took 2 hrs from showing up and driving away in my new vehicle. Thank you @sales josh. You were great, friendly and professional. No pressure or anything. I enjoyed my experience. Great sales manager too. Very friendly. Thank you for my SRT8. And I wish you all the best. Definitely recommend.

Buying a car from them, was great. We bought three new cars in three months in 2022. However, when getting the cars serviced, total rip off and scams and lies.
1) took my cx9 in for basic maintenance. Oil change and tire rotation. Get a call my car is done and they advised to change the air filter because it was dirty and needed to be replaced. This was not true as I changed the air filter and wiper blades the day before.
2) next visit with my cx9. They didn’t put my lug nuts on all the way, and one fell off in my driveway. They also didn’t put all my locking lug nuts on. Only two tires had the locking lug nuts, the other two did not have them, and one of them had the loose lug nut that came off in my drive way.
3) took my cx5 in for basic maintenance. Oil change and tire rotation. I was informed I had a nail in my tire and was advised to replace the tire since the nail was in the side wall. I declined, and took my car to a tire shop for the replacement. There was no nails, in ANY of the tires.
We have one more pre-paid maintenance job on the cx5. After that, we will not be taking our cars here for any service or maintenance. And will take our future business to Mazda in Roseville or Elk Grove.

Just picked up a beautiful Nissan Altima from Julio Navarro at Maita Mazda! He was incredibly knowledgeable and professional! He made my car buying experience wonderful, I’ll definitely see him for my next purchase!

I came in close to closing time, but wanted to lease a car. Several people stayed many hours after closing to work with me on lease by a car and everyone was extremely kind, and did not rush me. They helped me get my license plate cover off, cleaned the new car and told me not to worry about cleaning out my old car that I was trading in. 10/10 experience with the guys who helped me.
