I love this establishment with all of my heart. Where else can a person buy an entire lunch of barbecue buns and hotdog buns for two for under $15 these days? This place has captured my heart and my stomach. Definitely recommend the scrumptious barbecue buns and especially the har gow, which are perfectly tender, flavorful, and delicious. The staff working the counter are very kind and accommodating as well. Highly recommend!

I read a review suggesting that Lam Kwong Market consistently offers fresh dim sum due to daily sellouts. Excited to explore a new bakery with high ratings, I visited today but was left disappointed. Despite being a loyal ABC Bakery fan, I sought a different taste. However, the reviews proved inaccurate. As a frequent dim sum consumer, it was evident they were leftovers—the sesame balls and Fried Glutinous Rice Dumplings were cold inside, seemingly taken straight from the fridge. The bbq pork baked buns were dry and clearly leftover, highlighting a stark contrast to ABC Bakery where dim sum is consistently fresh. No wonder ABC always has a lineup. This first visit will also be my last; I couldn’t even finish what I purchased today.

One of my new favorite Chinese Delis now. It's located in the middle of a neighborhood. And it's a classic mom and pop shop. The char siu baos were delicious! Great meat to bun ratio and the filling was very good! Cash only for the char siu baos for sure. They had hot plates, steamed dumplings and food options, but I only got the baos on this visit. I will be back!

I've been wanting to check out this little gem. This place has your basic dim sum items and some hot entry. I was craving shu mai, so I decided to check this place out before work. When I first enter in, I was greeted by the worker. I new exactly what I wanted. I got a Cha Sui Bao, Ha Gao, and Shu Mai. Everything tasted good, but the highlight of the show was the Cha Sui Bao. The bun was full of meat. The bun was also more on the sweeter side which was interesting, probably from the honey on the bun. Overall, I would come back for the buns and to try their hot food. This place is more of a grab and go place, not really a place to sit down and have a nice meal. Overall I highly recommend this place. It's a hidden gem!

Had this place "save" for awhile, finally decided to go. Came around 11am, there were only 2 customers in line. Place is pretty straight forward & small. There are some foods that already pre-made in the hot warmer. There were still some buns, siu mai & shrimp/pork ha gao left. Ordered half dozens of siu mai & ha gao. Beef chow fun (dry), fried rice over general chicken & steam rice with black bean zucchini chicken stir fry. After the order was done, realize it ●TAKE CASH ONLY!!!● ? Embarrassed had to tell them I will be back for my orders. Went to safeway on R street which it was only 4 minutes away. Got cashed pulled out. Came back & paid for my orders. They packed with lots of foods. Sui Mai & ha gao were huge. Ate 3 & I was already stuffs. Will come back again when it super early to try their buns. Don't forget to bring cash.
