Placed an online order and it took them over 24 hours to cancel my whole order and tell me items weren’t in stock. Ordered the same stuff online from Michael’s, got it cheaper, and my order was ready for pickup within literally 20 minutes.

Stopped by to pick up a roll of velcro. The entire wall was empty. There were only 2 employees I could find who were both bust with a long line of customers at the cutting table and checkout counter so no one to ask if they moved them. But I wouldn't have waited in that long line regardless. So came home and ordered from Amazon with same day delivery

Provide great service, the staff, everyone is very helpful and knowledgeable. fabric great selection . On busy days, it can be harder, but they do the best to help you out .hoildays are very busy. Please be patient. This location is amazing.

After recieving absolutely unacceptable service from an older skinny white male at Joann last week in Elk Grove, I felt defeated. I gave up. My girlfriend convinced me to continue the search for 26 yards of 100% cotton Batting. So we journeyed to the Arden location. To my surprise, I am now taking the time to say thank you. To a Lady named Pat. She spent 20 minutes of her time helping us with figuring out materials, needed yards, and offering us comfort in the whole process. 5 stars Joann!!!! You perseverance helped my faith in humanity. Pat! I will usher all friends an associate's to you.

The worst experience in my life. I had a bad experience with employees working on the floor ,cashier and the manager. The first time I came I was so upset that I wanted to return the at the items right away but I didn't wanna go inside the store again because I didn't want to be treated the way I was treated. Right after I left the store I called corporate and complain about the situation . I explain it to them the whole scenario and how I was treated. They apologize and say they will contact me but I never heard from them again. Today I came to return the items and a manager name Amanda was upset because they couldn't do the return right. She started using inappropriate words like (fuck, stupid etc) while she was doing my return. She was slapping the computer, very upset and telling me to be quiet when I was trying to explain her my return. After 20 minutes of being at the store, waiting for them to figure it out how to do the return and listen to her inappropriate vocabulary, she gave me the receipt without saying anything or thanking me for the wait. She just ignored me completely. By the way all this time while they were trying to do the return, they were blaming on me. Suggesting that I was missing items. At the end they realize they had all the items, but they just didn't know how to do the return. I will never come back to this store. I was treated so bad and so disrespectful that they do not deserve to be in business. When I called corporate, I told them that I didn't even wanted to come back and do the return because I was afraid of getting the same reactions but since Corporate and never contacted me, I decided to come today and the experience that I had with Amanda was horrible. I will like to suggest that if anybody else has experience this kind of treatment from employees from the store to please posted and share it, because this is not right. Customers shouldn't be treated this way. I do not support this kind of businesses and I will never be shopping again at this stores. After this horrible experience, I went to Hobby lobby and everybody there was very nice and even the store manager took me to the section of the items that I was looking for. I rather spend my money where people appreciate your business. Joann will not be in my list of stores to visit ever again.

I wasn't real familiar with this store but the sales lady was really friendly and helpful and took the time to assist me in purchasing a nice sewing machine for a gift. The store is full of seasonal decorative items as well which was fun to see. Thanks for having a nice clean store too.

Came to the store at 8 to pick up an order, since the automated phone message and Google Maps say it was open till 9, only to find that, according to signs posted in the doors, it actually closes at 7. Very irritating.

Friendly, helpful staff. Great sales. Store is a bit messy and cluttered. I’d like to see more high end specialty fabrics. The bathroom needs to be gutted and cleaned up.

Late last week, and in search of linen or linen-like fabric for home draperies, I visited the JoAnn's store in Folsom. The impression is that it's a dirty, unkept warehouse where everything that doesn't sell somewhere else is sent. Abysmal! Still needing the linen or linen-like fabric, I took a trip to the JoAnn's on Arden in Sacramento. While a step up from Folsom, it's just barely a step up. I've recently moved to the area after having lived in the Bay Area for decades. JoAnn's (various stores) there have never had a huge selection, but always had something that would work. So disappointed in the two local locations! Following the the advice of other Yelp'ers, I went to warehouse type store called "Cut-Yardage" on Professor Ln in Sacramento. No coupons like at JoAnn's, but no inflated prices that are reduced by coupons. I found what I was looking of within 5 minutes of arrival, it was purchased and was walking back out to my car within 15 minutes of arrival. My advice is that if JoAnn's is a store where you're interested in shopping, try the one in Fremont, Cupertino, or San Jose. MUCH better options than either the Folsom or Sacramento stores!

We came in an hour before closing and immediately I had a bad vibe about this location. Everything is so disorganized and the store is just a mess. It was like they don't have any pride in this store at all...I normally like to take my time roaming the aisles since craft stores are my happy place, but I rushed through to find the few items that I knew I needed, and checked out quick. The cashier was friendly though...unfortunately, we won't be back.

Always love the good deals! Today was the first day that I have ever seen the pattern area a total wreck, which was disappointing. Also the first time I've seen such limited supply in patterns. I did find most of the things I wanted and saved a bunch of money on the regular prices.
