Great guy who really knows how to demonstrate customer service!! Lokesh was attentive even though they were short staffed and made great drinks!!! Overall a WONDERFUL experience!”

“Excellent experience staying at the Element hotel in Sacramento! Very clean and well-kept facilities and staff is an outstanding example of hospitality services. Good value, nice facilities which include a well taken care of pool (no spa jacuzzi), awesome fitness gym, outdoor indoor workspaces, dog friendly walking areas for service animals and pets in general. Element is a newer hotel and so far I give it 5- Stars! Everything was overall great! Everyday there was a nice selection of breakfast included, Jose cooking in the morning has great enthusiasm and hospitality skills! Beds are extremely Westin Heavenly comfortable, nice bath body wash/shampoo, clean smelling towels. Visible security checking the parking lot often. Carts to bring your luggage up and down from your room are available. Work desk and comfortable chair. There is a very small round side table for one person to eat meals. However in my opinion the room could use a little larger table for eating since there’s a kitchen, at least for 2 persons with chairs would be ideal. Clean good water flow shower (no tub in my room) Well equipped full kitchen in room and bbq areas outdoor provide options for cooking and eating. A small convenience snack,food,ice cream and drink store is in the lobby. Plenty of seating choices indoor and outdoor, plus two fire pits to sit around at night. Friendly and attentive Management (Oksana) went above and beyond including service interactions with overall facility operations (Richard) / FD (Rami,Desiree) and housekeeping facilities staff. My choice of stay at Element was because my service animal needed to go to nearby UC Davis Vet Hospital for a surgery and while there I received additional unexpectedly bad news that he has CKD which will require future visits to UC Davis Vet. It was nice to have a a relaxing environment with good amenities away from home. GM Oksana and majority of staff were so nice and inquired about how my dog was healing and feeling throughout my stay and after we returned home. We discovered a billing issue which was eventually resolved by regional management. We will likely stay there again because of the overall favorable and accommodating experiences.Rooms: Excellent. Clean, well equipped. Nice amenities. Staff is friendly and property is well cared for with a high standard of detail and professionalism”

The rooms themselves are modern and spacious. They appeared to be well-kept. The hotel's location was excellent and the bar/restaurant had good food and service. There is a public parking garage next door where you can park for $18/day.

I had a disappointing interaction with whomever answered the phone when I called to question a room charge of $14. Small amount, yes, but it was meaningful to me. After she hung up on me, I posted a review here and the hotel manager called me very quickly to follow up and make it right. So, just be aware that even if you are a Hilton member - those bottles of water in the room are not gratis!”

“There were so many mixed reviews that I decided to pull into the parking lot before I actually booked my room and was pleasantly surprised at how nice everything was. They had some sort of a tour bus in the morning so the breakfast was bombarded in trash cans to full and such just because of understaffed but everything was there otherwise. Room was excellent and clean.

“The upscale, "it" place to stay in Sacramento~this hotel is a destination unto itself! Beautiful rooms, great spa (in room massages available as well), amazing restaurant and bar, prime location. Despite how great this hotel is, it's the top-tier service here across the board that keeps me returning! The staff goes out of their way for guests from the moment one enters it!”

“From check-in to present, every single staff member we have interacted with has been absolutely wonderful. The gentleman that checked us in the first night had some difficulty validating our voucher and even though he became a little frustrated with the delay by the computer system, at no time did he make us feel the slightest bit unwelcome or that we were a burden in any way. In fact, he referred to me several times as "my friend" while reassuring me that the system was just slow and it would validate our voucher soon, which it did. I have needed to go into the office a few times to clarify information and to arrange for staying an additional week and the young lady who works in the daytime has always been cheerful and courteous toward me, even after knowing we were using a voucher for our stay. I also had separate interactions with two members of the housekeeping staff and they were extremely courteous and even seemed happy to answer my questions and help fulfill my requests. It has been a very difficult time for my family experiencing this period of being unhoused, so the staff's kindness to my family means so much more to me than they may realize.

Noteworthy details: The area isn’t great but the property is gated so that helps a lot. There seem to be staff present at all times on various areas so I always felt safe, even at night. This is one of the cleanest motels I’ve ever stayed at and I felt comfortable sleeping in the room and even going barefoot on the floor. Absolutely the best thing about this motel is the wonderful staff. I hope management truly knows and appreciates how great these people are!”

“We had a wonderful stay! The owner was kind enough to allow us to check in early, which was much appreciated after our long journey. The room was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate three people. Parking was very convenient, located just behind the house and easy to access. We also enjoyed a lot of privacy during our stay. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely stay here again.”

“Fun time staying on the boat. Given a free drink and discount on food. Angel was sweet and kind to us She went above and beyond and put a card in our room for my out of state guests. If you stay on the water side and are sensitive to noise the walrus or seal barks ALL night”

“The location is very convenient because it's close to the highway but still nice and secluded so it's quiet. The rooms are very spacious and clean, the bed was really comfortable. The young man working the service desk that afternoon was really great.”

“Rooms: Got a room for wheelchair handicap people without asking for it. It had a shower design for the handicap which made showering difficult trying to avoid water spilling on the floor. Also, there was no hand soap available, and no vanity mirror.”

“The rooms are very comfy with beds and television choices to watch. You have to ask for a microwave though if you want one. Mine never got delivered. They do have a food & bar downstairs but the food is outrageously expensive. They have pool & jacuzzi but full mostly. If you don't mind crowds it's ok. My son felt too far to walk to places which it was. They have river access but it sucks...nothing to look at. Plus also charge extra for parking by the day”

“Noteworthy details: They have a lounge that serves drinks and appetizers in the main building. This is an "apartment style" hotel, where the rooms are set up just like a typical California apartment complex. Multiple buildings with 4 "apartments" per building (2 upstairs/2 downstairs). There are no elevators in these apartments, so if you have difficulty navigating stairs, you'll want to request a downstairs room. They have a robust pantry with more selection than your typical hotel. There is a nice pool area, as well as a "grilling" area if you're so inclined. I stayed here on business, but I'm sure it would be good for a family.”

“Decent hotel with on time airport shuttle service. Location was convenient for dinner at Black Bear Diner. Remodeling in the lobby/breakfast area currently so there is construction but we heard nothing in the 2nd floor.”

“It's a shame we only spent one night there: spacious and very clean room, relaxed atmosphere and zero disturbing noises, but above all very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was a surprise: although the buffet is not very extensive, the quality and choice are far superior to all the mid-range hotels we have visited so far in the United States (and there have been many!). In addition to an excellent choice of Bigelow brand teas (excellent), the presence of decaffeinated coffee was a great surprise. Plus, there are some really good omelettes with cheese. The only shame was that the swimming pool was closed (the structure still gave the possibility of accessing the swimming pool of the nearby hotel at no cost). In short, everything was absolutely top.”

Vivian was incredibly accommodating and might be the best customer service host I've encountered.Joseph went above and beyond to expeditiously ensure housekeeping cleaned my room after a long day meetings and kept transparent communication about when my room would be ready. He was also super easy and comfortable to talk to, which goes a long way when staying at a new hotel. He just made traveling nicer.Rashid, the housekeeper during my stay was great. He set up my sofa bed in the room, and made sure everything was in order when he received a last minute task of doing a full turn down of my room.If management sees this, please let these folks know that they're appreciated!”

“I stayed here for a work trip. I can't speak to the price, because my work handled the booking.What I can say is the hotel is conveniently located in midtown, within walking distance of the State Capitol, several government agency buildings and the Sacramento Convention Center, among other places. There are several restaurants and bars in walking distance.My room, a one room suite was clean and comfortable.I used the fitness center on the second floor which was pretty well stocked.”

“It was fine. The pool was never opened even though the website said it was. No one acted like they knew if they could open it but it looked ready to use. You should put the pool is out online. Some people plan trips around having a pool. The elevator was out. The door handles coming in and out and on the stairwell were dirty. I cleaned them the second day since no one did the next day. “We came over here after our bags and skis did not make the trip on our same airplane to Sacramento and the airline offered us to pick them up the next day, instead of having to wait another day of lost vacation. We made the reservation within minutes of arrival, and they were ready for us. The Bonvoy app works very well What the hotel lacks in modern amenities, the staff makes up for it handsomely. Superb, well trained employees who made us feel at home right away. The hotel obviously gets a huge amount of traffic due to it being in the center of a major university as well as a major medical center. However clean and comfortable, it is well worn. There are posted signs announcing major renovations, which I'm sure will bring it to the standards of the chain. We're also had a very pleasant dinner at their restaurant. A restful night, as we had an early wake-up to get our luggage to continue our vacation.”

“The hotel is conveniently located right off Interstate 5, only a short drive to downtown Sacramento. The surrounding area might seem sketchy however the hotel ground are absolutely safe. Also, free continental breakfast is good and very useful. And, love the bird in the lobby!”
