I needed my haircut. She listened, asked questions and did what I wanted/needed done. Ashley was friendly and professional. Thank you. I am not thrilled with the pricing many hair salons now use which feels a little pricey to me. Then to ask for a tip on top of that I think is a bit much. I worked in the service industry for years. We had fees, but it would have been not only inappropriate but unethical for us to ask for a tip. This business is not the same as being a waitress where they are paid minimum or a little better wage. The salon is new, bright and shiny and pleasant. The biggest issue is that their location has no parking and finding parking with all the other businesses there is not always easy, although I did not have problems today.

Thank you Ashley Castro. I enjoyed working with you. Our conversations were always so great. I'm leaving Sacramento so I won't come to Honey Salon in the nearby future. Thank you for the great haircuts and tips for styling as well. You really care :). Hope you traverse the globe and see different countries and cultures - my kind regards :)

I can't decide what's worse, my hair color or haircut. I ended up leaving the salon in tears. Angie completely shattered what little confidence I had left. She didn't listen to my preferences and did whatever she wanted with my hair. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, she gave me attitude and tried to justify the outcome. If you enjoy stylists who ignore your wishes, go ahead and book an appointment with Angie

I have been going to Kristy at Honey Salon for years, and she is absolutely amazing! Kristy colors, cuts, and styles my hair, and she is so talented. I get compliments regularly from strangers on what a beautiful color my hair is, and it's all because of Kristy's magic. Not only is she a genius at what she does, but she is also a kind, caring person. I look forward to seeing her each time and leave feeling like a new woman!

Kristie has been my stylist for years, and I have never been disappointed in the results. I get regular root touch-ups and occasional highlights that always turn out perfectly. Aside from being a talented stylist, Kristie is a lovely person and is always very thoughtful and accommodating. Honey is a clean and spacious salon with high ceilings and large picture windows letting in tons of light. It's a lovely place I can highly recommend.

Brittani is the first person in years who knew how to give me the cut and color I wanted. Not always easy to work with an older woman who had thinning, greying dark blonde hair. She got me back to a beautiful ashy blonde tone that only hair dressers in SoCal seem to know how to do. Kudos to Brittani!

I got my hair cut about a month ago and it wasn't a great experience as a person of color. I arrived 5 minutes before my scheduled time and was only taken 30 minutes after scheduled. That was totally fine for me and I understand it happens. However, once the hour mark came around, which is how much time the appointment was scheduled for, Ashley started making comments about my thick hair and how inconvenient it was for her time wise. The entire haircut and blow dry took 1 hour and 10 minutes total (only ten minutes over).Ashley and another hairstylist started joking about how Ashley always get "stuck" with people with thick hair and Ashley said she should "just get a chainsaw at this point." This doesn't really make someone feel great about their hair. If my hair really was that thick, I imagine other hair stylists in my life would have commented on it but not one has. I felt pretty ostracized and uncomfortable by Ashley and the other stylist's comments about how "hard my hair was to work with."The haircut itself was ok but she ended up being really aggressive when blow drying due to her rush so I have a ton of broken hair at the roots making my hair look frizzy (a significant difference from before the appointment which was May 19th). I hope they are more kind to other clients with textured hair.

Just moved from LA and a hairstylist here in Sac screwed my hair up !! BUUUUT Ashley Castro wow! Came through like a goat! I rarely leave reviews but I am amazed and grateful I found this spot and booked my appointment with Ashley she did a phenomenal job! Five stars is not enough for her! Can’t wait to see her again! I needed a change and I needed to find not only a salon but a stylist that I could trust and knows what they are doing. I literally did my research on this one... I've been to several in Sacramento and they were not bad but just not a fit for me. So, I decided to try Honey Salon and after looking at all the stylists I decided to go with Kristy. I looked at Kristy's social media and her bio, she appeared to be a fit for me. The booking process with this salon was a breeze! I actually really liked the process, all online, super easy, and no issues. The salon sent me several email reminders which I loved because so many other salons never follow up and people have busy lives. Kristy is amazing!!! I'm so glad I chose her, she's extremely professional and super easy to talk to. I told her what I was looking for and she gave me a few suggestions and started working. Let me just say the end result is amazing!!! I love it!!!!! I have not changed my hair style in like 10 years and I was scared to death to change. Well Kristy did a perfect job, I love my new look so much. I highly recommend her and the salon.

I waited nearly 3 weeks for an opening and had both my consultation and appointment cancelled on me last minute with no explanation. No reparations were attempted, and they seemed unbothered by their mistake. Bad customer customer service and disorganized front desk.

I made an appointment and had to wait 2.5 weeks for an opening. They cancelled the consultation on me last minute. Then, when I showed up to my actual appointment, they said they had contacted me and cancelled the appointment. However, I had no records of any notice of this cancellation through text or call/voicemail. They tried to reschedule me another week or two out again. Do not recommend, front desk is disorganized and customer service is poor. Stylist was Lauren Valladao - can't speak on her technical skills, but this was a bummer, and she did not offer any reparations.

Chelsea worked magic on my hair!! I hadn't gotten a cut in years and was finally ready for a change and she gave me exactly what I was hoping for. Totally in love with my new cut. She's your go to girl if you want bangs!
