You need repair tools if you can do it yourself or check the price before calling a construction worker. There is everything in the house if you need it, nothing is missing. The staff is funny even if you just come to see. Have fun.

Good ol’ Boomer Depot with no Tap to pay and old chip readers that don’t work. Poor associate had to ring me up 4 times and it still wouldn’t accept my card.

After running around trying to find the item I needed, Maria was nice enough to hop on the forklift and get their back stock down for me! And all the other employees were extremely helpful as well!

ADA Compliant??? The store on Folsom has wonderful multiple handicap parking spaces right by the Entrance, just down a bit from the Garden Dept. There are no signs posted at that entrance announcing services are limited to returns only. BUT DON'T PARK THERE because the staff in the 'Return Dept' tells customers they have to walk to the far opposite end of the building by the Lumber Dept to check out. It doesn't matter if you parked in the handicap parking section near the 'Returns Dept'. They would rather redirect you to check out at the opposite end of the building... not anywhere near the designated section for handicap parking where you parked your vehicle. So the handicapped person must walk the full length of the building to check out, then back again to the other end of the building, across the parking lot, outside in 110 degree temps to get to their parked vehicle. Consideration? None, and note they are capable of checking you out in the 'Returns' area... they just PREFER NOT TOO. If it's an entrance, then it's an exit where all customers should be able to walk in and check out. What's wrong with management??? And why are they making it so difficult for handicapped folks? Clean yes, organized yes, helpful floor staff, yes (with exception of the Returns Dept) Compassionate?... not at this location!

Clean, well lit. Employees were helpful and friendly. They took my paint order and got it ready for me while I went to the bathroom. Bathrooms were clean, stocked, no issues. After picking up a few more items, I went back to pick up the paint and checked out. Practically no wait in line (1 person ahead of me but it went quickly). Got everything I need and had no problems. Thank you Home Depot and keep up the great work!

It's Home Depot! If it's not in stock, chances another location will probably have it. If not, try Home Depot's online ordering platform!

Improve staff training for Vinyl cutting - I can't tell employees how to do their jobs. Cut 1 was too long. They called an 'experienced' staff to help correct the issue. Eventually they gave up on trimming Cut 1 and moved to Cut 2. After 10 minutes of taking measurements to get Cut 2 right, I was losing faith. I gave pointers for using a measuring tape, but did not step in further to correct the 'experienced' staff. I stood back and let them work. After the cut, they took one measurement: short by an inch. I decided this was within tolerance (I just wanted to leave). I get home and see that width is off more than 2 inches end to end. This is not the local Home Depot to get vinyl cut. At least other staff were friendly and helpful for all other items.

Tool rental was not friendly. Renting a carpet cleaner, the first person I encountered seemed to busy to even acknowledge that I was there or even help. Another person helped with the rental. Also returning the carpet cleaner, because a little fibers from the carpet were in the carpet cleaner brushes, I was charged the full amount with nothing being returned to my card! I was thinking that this must be some type of scam and what do the people who work there in tool rental do? Was a bad experience and I wouldn't recommend nor will I rent here again!!

You can’t make this up
Purchased 30 bags of sand. They brought it out with a fork lift on a pallet. Makes sense. He looks at my receipt and says you didn’t pay for the pallet. You will have to pay for the pallet or we will load them by hand in your truck bed.
Hummm
Load them by hand I said.
There are stacks of pallets on the side of the Home Depot that people come pick up every day and they want to charge me for one. Makes no sense.
How many thousands of pallets does this place get every month and they want to charge the customer
