Hours are not current. They have different hours listed when you call than on the website and on google. No one ever answers the phone. I have been calling for three days trying to confirm hours before I drive down there. It took them an eternity to receive my order and send my pickup email at the very end of a business day, then they were closed for a holiday with no notice listed anywhere, then no one gets back to me. My book came in Wednesday and now I won't be able to pick it up until Monday because they can't keep their info updated. It shouldn't be this hard to keep simple info current.

Your best bet at getting in contact with someone is when they first open and preferably during a non busy time of the year. Other than that just go into the store. The people that work there are super sweet and want to help, they just get overwhelmed sometimes. Best of luck in your semester!

Worst bookstore ever. Do not order any ebook here. I ordered an ebook and they send the access code to my physical address which took about a week to get here. I ended up having to take a day off work just to finish my assignments. It is a freaking eBOOK, why didn’t they just email the code.

Poor customer service. Called yesterday to check to see if my textbook haf arrived. Was on the phone for an hour and no answer. Called again this morning and finally got thru and the person who answered the phone wouldn't even check to see if the order came in or not. I wanted to make sure it was there before I made the trip out there because I work during the day and by the time I get there they would be closed unless I left early from work.

Ghastly customer service! A remote student who works full-time in San Jose (not convenient to make a two hours drive to Sacrament) and takes online classes at Los Rios, I tried for nearly two weeks to cancel two books that I've ordered online the day after the transaction, but nobody at Hawk's Nest bookstore picks up the phone at this place! Email is also kaput. I've never seen such dreadful service!

Ghastly customer service and ripped off book prices! Tried to cancel two books ordered online by phone but nobody answered. Same contacting via email. Why does the colleges contract out book and student services to such an egregious company that provides substandard services while taking advantage of students with little financial resources!

I needed an access code for two of my classes this semester and the bookstore put the wrong code for both of these classes! I ended up having to spend an extra $200 because they put the wrong ISBN up there. So frustrating on top of an already tough semester.

Ordered for curbside and it was fast and easy! I just parked and they came out to me and got my order info! Shortly after I was delivered my items. It wasn't contactless because the guy scrolled my phone to get the order number. Overall, it was a good experience but I can see some issues with having separate workers walking back and forth from the bookstore to each car in the parking lot. It's efficient and convenient for me but not the employees. I'm grateful for the service though!
