I have a mixed feeling each time when I come to this Golden 1 Credit Union branch. Sometimes they're excellent, but sometimes they're terrible. The lobby and employees are always very good. The problem is the Lines are moving very slowly sometimes. Their system seems very slow. They take a longer time per customer compared to most of the banks.

There's literally NEVER more than 2 tellers (most times just 1 person) so the long line wait times are unbelievable!! I'm currently at the bank right now & with only 1 person ahead of me I've already been waiting 22mins. If my banking is a better experience on my own, what's the benefit of G1 vs any other? FYI... I'm still waiting

Avoid this bank location if you are ever on a time schedule. Unless you don’t care about your time by all means go here. They only have 2 tellers if that working with a line of 30 guest. Doesn’t matter if it’s the 1,2,3 or last week of the month. The lead teller never steps in to assist with getting the line down either. The tellers are slower than a snail itself. ridiculous!

Ever since I switched over to G1 I couldn't have made a better decision after leaving wf which was a bad choice from the start being G1 has been a great experience for me thanks Golden one

This bank are the worst one bad Customer service its always one teller be 3 back there only 1 teller open it's always a long line and I always wait 15_20 mins every time or longer they move very slow got to do better need to have at least 3 tellers open I'm done coming to this location get it together here got 3 workers standing around talking when one teller working and its alone line I waited 25 mins in line Ridiculousim back again on 09/16/23 they are so slow I waited 20 mins in line Ridiculous om so done

Very disappointing how Golden 1 has changed. I used to love it after leaving nightmare Wells Fargo, but we are starting to see the same issues here. The lines are always very long in the brach if you need to do a transaction. If you need account services, like opening or closing an account/getting a replacement card etc you have to make an appointment which could be days. I took one of my kids the other day to open her own checking account before college and was told "sorry you have to make an appointment now for any account services and all the appointments are full for today." . The worst issue of all though is Golden 1's online banking goes down all the time and you can't access or view your transactions, use card controls, or see balances when they experience tech problems. I understand post covid customer service is no where near what it used to be, and it's hard for businesses to hire and keep quality employees in this economy. So I can deal with a long line, I can deal with limited staffing, and can even deal with the inconvenience of having to wait for an appointment for account services. But when online banking has frequent issues and I can't access my account or money that's a problem. Example: The other day I was at the grocery store and my total was over $300 which I did not expect. I have a $300 transaction limit on my debit card in card controls, to prevent fraud. And with card controls it should be very easy to open my G1 app and adjust or turn off my spending limit if $300. But the app and website were both experiencing technical difficulties and I couldn't access card controls or my account. So I had to split my grocery payment between my debit and credit card, but thankfully I had that option. The same thing happened when we were on vacation last time we had to turn off our card controls because the G1 app and website were both having technical difficulties and card controls and account access weren't working. Card controls are a fantastic feature to prevent fraud and lock your card, but if you have to shut card controls off because you worry about not being able to access your account or money if the app or website crashes, card controls are pretty useless feature to have.

You would think this was Disneyland, with the wait lines at this location. Avoid this location at all costs. The previous reviews are valid, and the frustration from customers continues. The MGMT/hiring department refuses to help these employees, and hire appropriate numbered staff. I experience 4-6 minute wait times, per person, upon every visit.The bank opens at 10 late and closes at 5. Literally, go to any other location.

All Golden one credit unions have the worst customer service, but the one on Broadway tops them if you want to be waiting sitting around feeling like you're invisible go there

25 minutes in line to make a withdrawal. Never enough help. Avoid putting your money here. I'd cancel if it wouldn't affect my credit score.

I have had a miserable experience with Golden 1. I requested they set up automatic payment plans for my car loan, and they didn't which resulted in my credit being ruined. No one seemed to care or try to help me resolve other than to tell me to send a 'handwritten letter' somewhere but that it's likely there's nothing they can do.I have tried calling back on multiple occasions to confirm the set up of my auto payments but they just put me on hold for 30/ 40 minutes at a time. I find majority of the staff rude and unhelpful. This also has still not been resolved and no one will help. I will be switching banks with all accounts next week.
