Definitely want to support small businesses, but the freeport wine country inn was not it. Couple in town for a wedding. We booked two nights and bailed after the first night to go to a hilton.
Good things: Check in was easy. Linens were clean. Tub had hot water.
Bad things: Small room. AC vent directly above bed. Unappealing interior design. No blackout curtains. Dirty fish tank. Vehicles, event supplies, and boats haphazardly arranged in parking lot. Paint chipped everywhere. Cobwebs in corners of room. Tub jets broken. Strict cancellation policy. Depressing neighborhood. Scaffolding up with no signs of work being done.
Hope this business is able to make the improvements needed to be more competitive in its category.

We had a wonderful stay! The owner was kind enough to allow us to check in early, which was much appreciated after our long journey. The room was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate three people. Parking was very convenient, located just behind the house and easy to access. We also enjoyed a lot of privacy during our stay. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely stay here again.

Wine tasting and dining very enjoyable experience. Excellent tasting and meal selections. Accommodations of an Inn adds an option. Close location to downtown Sacramento City makes this country inn very convenient.

We recently had a baby shower here for my sister, we were coming from out of town and we can't believe how lucky we were to find this place. This place was amazing handled everything for us and decorated it for us. The food was unbelievable and the attention to detail sure stood out. Not to mention they have and amazing selection of beer and wine on tap and the bartender was awsome the whole time. We ended up staying the night here and the rooms were so nice and comfy we felt right at home. We will be staying here whenever we visit definitely and can't wait to come back and do another event we'll worth it.

We booked a last minute Mothers Day reservation here and we sat outside. The buffet brunch was awesome! So much variety. The weather was perfect and there was even live music to entertain us. The staff was super friendly. I didn't know this place did anything for Mothers Day and I am glad I called to check since every other place in town was booked already

Great place to stay. We arrived late and the hosts greeted us, gave us a nice welcome, very nice people. The hotel was very peaceful. The neighborhood felt very safe, especially compared to chain hotels in the middle of town. Check in and out was easy and instructions were clear. Muffins in lobby and restaurant up the road, coffee and fridge in room. All amenities worked nicely and the bed was very comfortable. Would stay here again anytime were passing through.

This is an interesting property. I would say it is set up more for younger couples that want a weekend retreat to get away from "life" in general. Wi-Fi is somewhat spotty. The TV didn't work as it needs Wi-Fi to get channels.Nice hot tub in the room. Older property but overall it's nice. Rooms have an actual key for the deadbolt. Have not seen an actual keyed room in years so it was like a walk down memory lane. They have a nice bar. Very cozy atmosphere. Walls are a little thin. The mattress was very, very comfortable. I slept like a champ! There is no actual front desk to check in. You check in at the bar. There is a nice restaurant near the property. Food is very good.Food & drinks: Nice cozy bar

Thank you Freeport Inn for hosting us and our family for our wedding ceremony dinner. This place is a hidden gem. Everyone loved their food and the quaint environment. The owner Marnie was easy to communicate with and even put out some of her own personal wedding decorations for us which was very thoughtful. I'd highly recommend this family-owned hotel and restaurant to anyone!

This is a quaint little inn on a quiet road in a historic part of Sacramento. The owner, John, warmly welcomed us. He was gracious enough to give us tips and respond to our requests to ensure that we’re comfortable throughout our stay. It’s an old country inn so expect the decors to give its character. The rooms, and toilets and baths are clean, and all furniture and appliances are in great working condition.

Good Afternoon, Yelpies!!!If you are looking for a welcoming location to stay the night at then look no further. This place is clean and crazy quiet. The staff are amazing and they have plenty of wine choices. Yup plenty. This place is set up like the OG bed and breakfast before that App was created. This is a great place for the business person passing through town or a weekend getaway.
