Been shopping here for 5 years now. This store has tons of selection, The cashiers are very friendly, And the prices are lower than some stores around it. But it is also a little messy sometimes. Besides that, great place to shop!

My recent visit to Food Co left me utterly disappointed. While innocently picking up three lemons for my barbecue, I was shocked to find my wife engaged in a dance with another man within the store. The lack of respect for customers' privacy and the inappropriate atmosphere created by this unexpected dance floor was completely unacceptable. Food Co, this is not the experience I expect when simply trying to buy groceries. Your store should prioritize a comfortable and respectful environment for all customers. I am thoroughly displeased with the way this situation was handled, and I would caution others about the questionable atmosphere at Food Co. My grocery shopping experience should never involve witnessing such inappropriate behavior.

I shop here every week and never once had a problem bringing a bag in,up until this rude, younger male security guard rudely told me to leave my bag near the front door. I came in for one item and you're crazy if you think I'm leaving my bag near an open door with people going in and out. ITS GERBER ROAD.It's your job to prevent theft, not watch my bag so who goes to say what will happen if you took your eyes off it ! As I went to grab a pack of tortillas, he followed me and tried harassing me. I paid for my stuff, receipt and all and as I walked out, he kept trying to be immature and egg the situation on. This person should be terminated or re trained immediately because how come the lady security at Gerber Walmart be able to stand on business w/o harassing people and theft has gone down over there? No need for the harassment at all. Maybe if y'all hired more guards that walk around the store rather than sit at the front, this wouldn't happen. People that are known thieves by camera, by all means go after them, but as a person who works hard for everything, it's super wrong to accuse people of stealing.

All these one star reviews hold a lot of merit, this store is atrocious! The parking lot is littered with trash, tons of beggars and walking in we were hit the smell of urine. We should have left then but it was the closest store and we were running late already and just wanted to hurry and get what we needed and leave. Produce was pretty picked through and not very stocked. I did come across lots of spoiled or on the verge of spoiled produce so we skipped getting any of that. Meats were questionable also. Lots were marked down for quick sell and definitely had some grey hues. Worst was the marked down seafood, the trays were filled with bloody water. Nope, nope and more nope! We walked down one of the refrigerated isles and it smelled so bad, like spoiled food and mold. The last straw was the line to check out. It was roughly 10pm and they had one clerk and the line was all the way down the isle and reached the back wall of the meat area. It was absolutely ridiculous! After 15 minutes of hardly moving we just left. We came to grab snacks and beer for a party but decided to just leave and get stuff from the gas station on the corner even though the markup would be more. Just avoid at all costs if possible.

Foods co is my least favorite shopping experience that's for sure. From under stocked shelves to the sticky cranberry juice bottles, I wouldnt normally shop there unless I had lots of time to go through the one check out lane or needed a somewhat decent priced bottle of vodka. As for customer service the staff is for the most part very kind and friendly but everything else shop at your own risk and one more thing DONT BUT YOUR MEAT THERE. Go to WinCo or savemart anywhere but food co.
