Customer service is so rude and slow. After waiting ten minutes in line with only two other customers ahead of me, MICHELLE on 2nd floor, never greeted me at all scanned my item and walked away and began talking to some other employee. The pay screen told me to insert my card which I did and she came back and started scolding me for doing it and I apologized and said that the screen told me to and she claims "no it didn't your not listening and your not a macys card holder why you inserting your card I'm not even done yet" like I was stupid for doing it but I told her well you scanned it and walked away and that's what the screen said and I would appreciate you just quickly getting us checked out as we've waited a while already instead of walking away and talking. She told me too bad you gotta wait just like the rest of the customers. She is out of line to speak like that as an employee and is way too argumentative she wasn't even paying attention and argued with me! Horrible

Came into the store to look at shoes. Stood at the customer service / return area to get my parking validated. I've never had a problem before this! The Macy's employee was extremely rude and told me she would not validate my parking without proof of purchase! I told her I was a Macy's card holder, she said that didn't matter! Please train your employees on how to treat your longtime customers! No wonder this place is a ghost town!!

Love this place. A little bit of everything that is heavily discounted. Always new items to check out.

More people are here on Friday Saturday and Sunday. Especially if there is a Sacramento Kings Game at the Golden One Stadium.

This review is for the makeup counter at DOCO. There are two employees that I would like to spotlight. Lanette and Regina. Thank you to both for making a fun day at the mall horrible. Your lack of customer service and disregard for any human compassion was nicely shown. Details: I took my mother to the Makeup counter because she needed to get some face toner. I understand every company is shorted staff. That's not the issue here. My mother wait and waited and waited some more. Lanette asked if she needed help and she stated yes but I guess Lanette heard something else. Lanette proceeded to ignore my mother. I spoke up and asked if she was going to assist her? She stated she is off the clock and thought she didn't need help. But she will have Regina assist after she is done with her client. I was so disgusted with her actions that I sought assistance from someone else. Culture awareness training is needed for these staff members. No empathy or compassion. No apology. Nothing. Your behaviors are disgusting and appalling.

I recently bought a wedding ring at Macy's, paid a fair amount; in addition, I even got the insurance for an added $400.00 so when I went into this location to get the ring resized the guy and the manager working in the jewelry department today 5/23/22 told me with smirks on their face that it's best I go elsewhere, rather they insisted it would be a waste of their time to ship my ring to LA to get it resized and that if I want to wait 12 weeks it's better I go elsewhere. There several things wrong with your store but mainly it's the incompetent employees you've allowed in that make Macy's feel this bad, what a horrible experience I hope people find other options than this sad excuse for a poorly managed store. Either the GM is ok loosing money or they just don't care either way new management is needed

drivers beware this location locks up thier parking garage after 8pm every night anyone who parks here needs to remember to grab their car or else you cannot collect it until tomorrow morning. management, if you are reading this, i'd advise you to do something to remedy this issue before something happens that you'll regret. no one wants to be locked out of their vehicle. fix this.

Manager needs to hire more OR better. Went there today planning on spending on daughter and grandson. Found several items in toddler section. Looked around for an open cashier but had to walk the entire floor to find the only open register. The line was six deep with the 7th person slowly checking out. Cashier was moving as fast as she could but line took a long time standing in place on concrete floor. Ugh! Another floor person rushed passed us, so i said "cant we get another cashier?" She ignored me and continued to cruise the floor rather than jump on a register and help ring up some of this long line. She behaved as though she was a higher rank and cashiering was beneath her and she obviously was not interested in helping the line. Im in my 60's not as thin as i once was and standing for 15 minutes is not easy for me. If the items were not for my grandson, i would have left. Then we went downstairs to buy cologne and waited for another 10 minutes to buy mens fragrance. No one came... Sooo we left. HEY MACYS, if you want people to spend money you might consider having more staff that can get us out faster. Otherwise we will just leave and not come back! None of us want to walk the space of a Costco just to pay for our goods.

This posting is for Macy's Corporate Customer Service department and not the Downtown Store. I recently purchased online a set of Two Cooper Accent chairs. The chairs arrived with the legs sticking out of the packing box. When unpacked, the chair was missing a finishing plug at the bottom of the chair leg. I contacted the manufacturer, but was informed that I needed to contact Macy's. I called Macy's customer service to report the missing plug and to try and obtain a replacement plug. After my customer service call, the agent said I should return the chairs - that was the only way to get a replacement plug! CS did not try to save the sale. I was placed on hold - silence background - several times. I received an authorization to return the chairs for a replacement part that would cost $5. max. I repacked the chairs and sent them back to Macy's according to their guidelines. I was informed by CS that I will not receive the processing fee of $28. when I am reimbursed. (Questionable fee) This experience is leaving me perplexed to understand why Macy's would rather issue a return rather that correct an inexpensive missing part. I will be hesitant to order items from Macy's online in the future.
