I should have read all the reviews about this place before I stayed there. The reviews are horrible for good reason. The room reeked like smoke. The bed sheets hadnt been changed, there was burned cigarettes and tobacco on the night stand so this room had clearly not been cleaned. The shower was not cleaned and the floor was filthy. The manager was ride when were checking out. This is one of the worst motels I've ever stayed at. If you choose to book a room despite my review you are in for a real treat

TLDR; you get what you pay for.
I booked this room last minute for an event I was attending later in the day. When I arrived there was no one at the front desk. There's bell and a number to call. When the gentleman arrived, there was no greeting because he was still on a personal phone call. During the check-in process, instead of having me put in my pin he asked for it so that he could enter it in the machine. Which I found to be sketchy. The condition of the room was abysmal - the photos just scratch the surface of how run down / dirty the room was. Very grateful that I was awake to see the massive bugs crawling along the baseboard. The area is kind of scary as well, there was constant activity outside the door past midnight. There are safer and cleaner hotels in the area. Save your money.

Front desk was snippy with me.
Room was absolutely filthy. I could've forgiven the paint coming off the walls & doors, the rust on the door hinges, etc. But, the floor was absolutely filthy. My feet were coated in dirt, dust, and who knows what after just a few steps.

The average thing doesn't bother me, like one towel for two people, pictures leaning against the wall instead of hung, top sheet instead of a fitted sheet... Those are just lazy or renovations. But dirty rooms, that does it. This place has all the above, including the fact that after a shower, walking around barefoot revealed that the floors probably haven't been cleaned in months. No way would I put socks on after walking around here. In fact, I'd go all the way to putting my SHOES on before I walk around again. And service doesn't care at all. Luckily this was just a pit stop, but I'd expect cleaner for nearly $100 a night

The hotel was relatively clean and affordable. However, our room smelled strongly like smoke despite being a no smoking room. My girlfriend called and asked if we could check out at 12 rather then 11, and they politely said yes. However, at 11:45, a man pounded at our door while we were in the middle of packing and screamed at us we had to leave now and was incredibly rude. He wouldn’t listen to any attempts to reason, if we wouldn’t be allowed to check out late it would’ve been nice to know that when we called instead of being lied to. Location is surrounded by homeless and our car almost got broken into while I was still inside. Girlfriends legs were covered in bug bites after sleeping in the bed. TV didn’t work either.

This was the least cost motel in Sacramento. The location is right off the freeway. The state capital is 10 min away. A nice park along the American River is within walking distance. That's the good. The location is surrounded by homeless encampments. The front desk was not manned when we arrived. Some of the other guests had the appearance of wanting a room by the hour rather than for a night. The floors are sticky but mopped. Overall, there's a lot of deferred maintenance. All the towel racks were missing. There was not a working ice machine. The staff, while polite, all speak English as a second language. My daughter stayed the night before and forgot a pillow. We were able to retrieve it. That was cool. There's a Dennys and McDonald's in walking distance.

Right of I-80. A homeless camp on the sidewalk outside the fence. Ladies of the night work here. They hang out on the walk way in next to nothing waiting for their friends to arrive. The dressers were missing all the drawers. Bed was uncomfortable. You could hear the interstate traffic all night.

Their was blood on the floor and my pillow when I got there. Their was no coffee maker no breakfast as advertised. The bathroom door was broken. The telephone did not work. Either did our ac. We tried to get the night shift guy to fix it but he said Their was nothing he could do to wait until morning. We spoke to the manager she cleaned up the blood but was unable to fix the ac or phone or door. On top of that we didn't even have a fire alarm in our room Their excuse was people keep taking them out. Which is against fire code. The ice machine was also broke. We tried to get towels 3 times and finally had to hunt down the cleaning lady to get towels and toilet paper. We stayed 5 nights only because Their was nothing else available for aftershock. We payed a ton of money and definitely did not receive good service. On top of everything that was wrong with your hotel we woke up to 3 dead bodies in the bushes across the street. Between that and the homeless we did not feel safe at all. Worst hotel experience of my life. I will never stay at any executive inn and suites. First time and the last.1 star only because they don't have an option for 0Rooms: Filthy, out datedSafety: Homeless people and drug use every where. DO NOT STAY HERE. this hotel is nasty. The rooms are outdated, the floors sticky, the door had a small hole in it, the room smelled like stale cigarettes, the table in the sitting area was broken and about to fall apart. I look at the bed and there are fried chicken looking crumbs, on the top comforter. Pull the blanket back and there is a ton of crumbs and hair in the bed along with a bunch of stains. The area around the hotel is covered with homeless. And smells terrible. The staff is rude and refused to refund us for the night even though their hotel was disgusting and we didn't even stay the night. Save yourself the time and do not stay here. I will be fighting this with my bank and leaving reviews on every site I can. I would leave a ZERO star review if I could.Rooms: DISGUSTING

Terrible hotel! I thought I would get a less expensive hotel as I just needed a bed for the night. The room had a sofa that was literally filthy! The towel rack in the bathroom was broken. The closet did not have a rod or hangers to hang clothes on. The attendant was not at all helpful in the lobby. No coffee or tea.Location was awful as there were homeless camps right across the street!!!DO NOT STAY HERE it is gross!
