We moved here about a year ago and needed somewhere to take our furry family members. The staff is always so nice and they understand that I am a bit overprotective of my dogs? setting up shot appointments was super easy when it was ti.e and they handle our picky pups great!

Have taken all my cats here since I moved into town. My two eldest cats were treated really well and even after they passed they are now caring for my three bundles of joy.
We recently had a very difficult time with one of our baby cats, but the staff at the front desk as well as Dr T. Have been more than generous when it comes to explaining what's happening and giving me options.
As with everything I always recommend pet insurance but if you do have an older animal, they offer the petly plan in house, so definitely talk to them about it.

Recently I took my cat in for an annual checkup & bloodwork. Receptionist was very nice & Michael the vet tech was fantastic but the vet on the other hand never touched my cat, never looked at her. Most of the conversation was trying to sell me $23 hairball medicine. Very disappointing she didn't do anything vets are supposed to do. I'll be looking for someone else for next time! $341 for no check up!

I would give a 0 star if I could. I arrived 3 minutes late to my appointment with the grace period included and I was told I couldn’t have my dog seen…. Things happen such as traffic and a car accident that made me 3 MINUTES late while on my way and I’m told my dog can’t be seen because we were 3 minutes late… and that the grace period is given to “be nice” according to one of the receptionist. I wouldn’t recommend taking your pet here because god forbid you are running 3 minutes late they’ll cancel your appointment. What a joke.
Update to your ignorant response "business owner".There is a 10 minute grace period after the scheduled appointment that your "business" offers so l don't understand where 13 minutes late is even from given that it's a GRACE PERIOD... you're as slow as your staff makes sense why the situation was handled poorly. And a "fresh starbucks in hand"? it was actually iced water in a store bought Starbucks cup.. but great job assuming. Your response is filled with ignorance and very petty. Your "business" has my phone number you could have simply contacted me to resolve this matter as a "business owner" but instead you decided to respond with ignorance and assumptions.
Update— you had my review taken down on yelp.. odd. Good thing there’s google!

Very hard to get an appointment. And when you are seen, it's apparent they are in it for the $$$. They stopped calling in scripts to other pharmacies making it very difficult to use companies like Chewy . It's irritating because I don't want to pay them the egregiously marked up prices for medications. I dont get the sense they actually CARE about your furry family ; they are more interested in what;s in your wallet.

Really good providers but rather expensive. Not sure we can afford them much longer. Last year I brought my cats in for their yearly routine checkups, maybe a couple boosters each and a blood panel that wasn't mandatory but I was advised we should get just to "make sure because of age." They were fine. Walked out with a bill for $900. Yearly exam for my dog with routine shot and some antibiotics: $150. If money is no object, this is your place.

We recently became new patients at this office and I couldn't be happier. We and our pets had a horrible experience at our prior vet and el camino has made sure to rewrite that experience. They are very friendly and very understanding. So glad to have found this establishment

Horrible experience.
- We were the only ones there and it took ~10 minutes for the staff to go in the back and come back. The individual rooms where you sit with your pet as you're seen is so hot! My dog was panting and my wife and I were sweating through our clothes.
- The vet was afraid of my 9lb CHIUAHUAH because he wiggled when she tried to hold him. It's his first vet appointment, of course he's going to be scared. He didn't growl or nip, she was simply afraid of a small dog.
- Because the vet was unnecessarily scared of my small chiuahuah, she put a MUZZLE on him. It was dirty and she used her fingernail to scrape off residue.
I feel so bad for taking my pup there. It was his first experience and the vet was scared of him for wiggling. I honestly am shocked, you people handle animals daily and a wiggly puppy scared you. Additionally, a dirty muzzle is degrading.
We will never come back again. The positive reviews are shocking.

I used to love this vet. They took great care of my dog when he needed ACL surgery in 2019.. But over the past couple of years I haven't had a single good experience with them. Either the doctor was rude, or we couldn't get an appointment for weeks or even months. When my dog was in heart failure they refused to see him, and instead recommended emergency vets. Which baffled and of course upset us. During my last visit with them they made me wait extra long in the drs office and told me it was because they just had an emergency come in. So they don't take emergencies? But they will make random exceptions? Every visit we have had in the past couple of years has been disappointing in some way. I don't plan on bringing any of my pets here again.

We took our 6 month old German Shepherd Harley in to see Dr. Chen because Harley was having a lot of diarrhea (sorry TMI) but the doctor and the vet tech (I forgot her name) gave us great information and we’re super helpful, AND Harley loved everyone. The ladies at the front desk were also very nice and professional. A wonderful experience overall.
