Found this place by accident one day and needed to mail a package so it was really convenient. Many shipping options. Do be sure to ask which method of delivery if you need to track an item. All around good speedy service.

Been coming here for a while overall good but the two younger mid age guys that work here are a little nonchalant and don't seem happy to work here they are very short with answers and questions.. only complaint is if they provided a little more better customer service and be more welcoming especially for their long time customers

Awesome location and friendly staff. Had the opportunity to stop at this Gem. I was met with a friendly hello . I was pointing to exactly what I needed. I was able to get in and out in a timely manner. This is definitely a spot that shouldn't be overlooked especially if you are in a time crunch.

Went here to get a few things notarized with my friends. The guy who helped was very professional and particular with the process. If you need something notarized then I would recommend going here. You'll have the peace of mind knowing it ain't being done from someone sketchy.

This is a great place to mail packages, letters and to also pick up some really cute packaging for gift giving! I love the variety of supplies this store has in stock. The staff is so polite and conscientious. I'm always greeted with a warm hello and I am asked if I need assistance with anything right away. I usually visit the store at non-peak hours so I've never had to wait. I'm so grateful for Downtown Mail & Shipping! I'll be back soon!

this is our go-to for sending packages to family and friends. they are extremely helpful. they are thorough every step of the way: from confirmation of address, to recommendation of various shipping options and even making sure that everything is properly packed. they are pros and always so nice to work with.

Prices are a bit more expensive than a USPS office. Shipped a package that weighed 1.3 pounds to NY and it costs roughly $16 and I had to pay extra for tracking. At the USPS it would've been around $14 with tracking included. I was in the area and couldn't make it to USPS. There is one near this place but they closed on Saturdays. Either both are expensive. The man at the counter was nice tho.

Of all the private mail services Downtown Mail & Shipping is by far the best mail service that I have spent money on! This may have been over 10 years ago, but I can honestly say no other mail service has come close to their professionalism, service and politeness! Even when they are busy, they are very Polite when I had called in to see if I have any mail or packages waiting for me. If they are too busy to check for me. They politely and cheerfully ask me if they can call me back; which is no problem and above all they keep their promise to their customers and I get a call back! Most of the mail services here in Chico, had a young woman at the counter and have no phone skills. I have been told "I do not know we are real busy at the counter m" then hang up! That is how a customer is treated , and I am always polite and do not ask for unreasonable or nonsense requests of service! I would say that Downtown Mail service is the best and many other mail service should follow their business model if they want their business to be a success!

andy is the man. i had to fax 40 pages to the government and he was so friendly and patient throughout the entire process and all the little hiccups that happened. definitely come here if you need to fax anything. fedex was going to charge me $2 per page!!! ??
