Raise my prescription by over 200% and had terrible customer service in doing so and did not care whatsoever about losing anyone's business. Worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with.

CVS pharmacy is always my first choice for prescriptions. Recently transferred to this CVS from a different one and it is very well kept, clean, organized and stocked. The employees are very nice and friendly. I will have to say I am happy with the transfer. I never have any problems, other than for some reason the male pharmacy technicians always seem to have an attitude and aren't very empathetic, and they give off the vibes of not wanting to help with questions at the drop off window.

My husband, I, and our neighbors found this CVS on Fair Oaks a nice, safe and clean one to shop. It's conveniently located. The manager Greg is cheerful, helpful and all his associates are delightful. Everybody that works here is polite, efficient, quick and eager to help.
We always love to shop here.

Can never get a hold of the pharmacy. Sends you to voice mail. Or say use app. App is a joke!

terrible experience. Last time there, I asked if the prescription for the generic drug is about the same price as the drug over the counter since the med was also over the counter. The staff thought about it and confidently said yes. It turns out the EXACT SAME DRUG costs over 10x more from the prescription when prepared by the pharmacy compared to the price over the counter. Yes, over 10x the difference. I felt like I got robbed because this is kind of thing should be illegal. Please check your prices if your doctor orders something that is also available over the counter. Usually it's about the same, but there are outliers.
This time here, drive-through for pharmacy, they took my credit and lost it. Kept asking if it's in my car, five times. They took it, billed it, and never handed it back to me. My first "no, it's not in the car or the med bag" should have been enough, it's not in the car. You lost it. Reported credit loss immediately after. The credit was never found again.
Take away, do your own research and never trust what anyone at this store says.

I am at the point where I will just not do any more business with CVS pharmacy here in Sacramento any more. A few years ago the service at the 5100 Folsom Blvd location was so bad I moved my scrips over to the then new location at Fair Oaks and Howe avenue. The service difference was extraordinary. Now flash forward about 8 years later and it is an entirely different story. BTW I used to live near this pharmacy. Moved 6 years ago about 8 miles away. But have kept my scrips here because the pharmacy was so good. However, I have noticed a definite decline in customer care over the past year. Not sure if it is a new pharmacy manager or what but, bottom line is they do not care about their patients. They have enforced a new policy that does not allow a patient to call the pharmacy and talk to a pharmacist. You have to leave a message and hope someone will call you back. That might or might not happen. Then the operating hours have apparently been changed. I showed up yesterday at 10:00 am to pick up a scrip and guess what, they were not open? Inside or at the drive through. I had another appointment so I thought okay I will come tomorrow. Today I showed up at 10:35 am. They were closed. The hours for Sunday are 11:00 am. I have been driving over and picking up my meds on weekends for years and not waiting until near noon. So this is one issue. Another is the fact that they no longer text you when your orders are ready. It is pure quess work. And you cannot call them. So you are left with the all but useless app which only works sometimes. And what it tells you is not what you hear when you go to the store to pick up a scrip that you attempted to fill through the app. The store will have no record of your requesting a refill through the app? Even when you show it to the pharmacist they just shrug. Today I asked the store manager for a number to call to register a complaint and at first was told there is no number. They finally relented and gave me an 800 number to call. Which I will do next. Meanwhile I moved all my scrips from this store at this point. It is just sad to me that this is where large chain pharmacies like CVS are at now days. This store used to be a cut above. Now it is not worth wasting your time trying to get your meds. BTW I am off my meds now for two days. And will be off of them for a week by the time my mail order meds arrive. And speaking of mail order they offer delivery though their app. But that estimated more than a week for delivery for a mere $5.00. $10.00 if you want it in three days. Good luck with this pharmacy, it has gone to hell in a hand basket!

The Hispanic female manager, she's not even 30, her... she has a really bad attitude. I asked her a question about the apps coupon and she refused to accept it, even though the app clearly states the discount. I walked out and spent my money else where. Just a reminder, it takes only ONE bad experience for someone to stay away for a long time. This manager without words said go spend your money elsewhere we don't want you. So I will. I will also remove my info from your pharmacy system and never have my medicine sent here. Enjoy your business CVS ? the type of managers you have

The NP in minute clinic has biased micro aggression. Stated I could not pay for a TB test out of pocket. What world does she think she’s living in? Maybe that’s why her car was stolen. Bad energy attracts bad energy.

The CVS on the corner of Fair Oaks Blvd and Howe Ave is a new and nice looking store outside. But the store inside looks ancient style even you can tell it is new! CVS keeps the old style even when they build a new store! The store has most of the over the counter medications at the pharmacy department. Household items, wines, and toys are also available. The store is clean, and the workers are pretty nice!

These poor young employees deal with thieves coming in daily! Today, 3 girls filled up huge BAGS of supplies without even trying to hide it. They casually walked out of the store as I am PAYING the higher prices in the store. Everyone in line was so frustrated. Employees can do nothing. Here we are not being able to find what we are looking for b/c the shelves are empty. They said the same people come in and do it over and over. I won't be back . This is the THIRD time this has happened while I was there and this isn't even my "home" CVS location. So frustrating for the customers and the employees.

Cvs minute clinic is terrible, long wait times even with an appointment, keep getting skipped over and the NP Michelle doesn't care at all. I will not be coming back and also NP Michelle was very uneducated when it comes to ChampVA insurance which is for dependents of veterans that are 100% permanent and total, staff here needs to be up to date with insurance information
