So in the beginning of august I asked my agent to remove an old vehicle from my policy and add a new one via email. No response. Decided to give them a call. No answer. No call back. 2 weeks later they finally responded and started to ask questions about the new vehicle only to not respond to my response for another 2/3 weeks. I was calling every day emails were being sent every day and they wouldn’t respond. I decided I was done with coremark so I searched for different insurance companies and found one I liked. So I emailed my agent on 09/14/2020 telling them I was canceling my current policy and moving to another. I also called and you guessed it no answer so I left a message. (Still to this day I have not received a response from this person.) Late October I received a bill from my old insurance saying I owe them for October. I told them no I canceled it in the middle of September. They were not aware that I canceled. So the person I was working with at coremark didn’t cancel my policy. So now I’ve been back and forth with my old insurance since the beginning of November to now. Thanks COREMARK. I will never recommend you guys to anyone.

When I complained about the treatment we received from one of his agents, Dan Betrand, CoreMark's President, sent this is the email: "My name is Dan Bertrand and I am (Person 1's) business partner. I have known (Person 1) for over 20 years and know him to be the most decent, honest, generous, caring, faith-based and family loving person I know. I am honored to be his business partner. We as an agency take pride in helping clients of all sizes and handle over $55,000,000 in premium annually without issues like the ones you have experienced. $55,000,000 is not a typo. We take pride in owning our mistakes and I suggest you do the same." Except they wouldn't own their mistakes. When our agent left, they moved us to someone else with no notice and stopped sending me emails because I complained. Instead they sent them only to my partner. Since my partner doesn't handle insurance, I didn't get notice of our workers comp audit. I was the one who initiated the relationship and my partner never made decisions on these matters nor engage in any correspondence except to request certs. Things got left undone and cost us money. When that agent left, they moved us to one of the partners with no notice and had to deal with a very rude customer service rep who specifically refused to acknowledge that she failed to 1) send me - or even copy me - on the emails, 2) reach out to us by phone when my partner didn't reply to the emails (she thought i must have at least been copied. For the CEO/President of a business to brag about the character of his partner, and about his revenue and therefore his wealth, while berating a tiny family business struggling to survive for not owning up to our mistakes is the MOST egregious example of arrogance I have ever witnessed in 30 years of working for 3 Fortune 100 companies (in the insurance business!). I simply could not believe the lack of self-awareness and aloofness from the needs of their clients. Breathtaking. I went from there to deal directly with a carrier (BiBerk), where all my service is entirely online. When I need a cert, 2 seconds online. Workers Comp audit? Automated. I am 1000% relieved. I am done with useless middlemen. The attached email exchange is between myself and Mr. Bertrand. ALL of the paperwork, ALL of the emails that they only sent to my partner, ALL of the responses Mr. Betrand's company mistakenly sent to my partner and not to me, EVERYTHING is basic tasks that BiBerk automates. Automatic. No responses needed from us and when needed, it comes in an email with a link to our online account and we take care of it in 2 seconds. The $55 million man has not spent money on technology to make his clients' lives easier. He will tell you they instead provide "personal service". Insurance agents for small businesses where all the policies are standardized should have been disintermediated 20 years ago. Instead they get commissions from the insurance companies for doing next to nothing except being a bottleneck for convenience.

We started using Core Mark about an year ago. The service we have received from Cerrina and her team has been amazing. Any time I have had any questions she has been able to help me in a very timely manner. Our employees also have access to her and she is quick to give them help and assistance. I would highly recommend Cerrina if you are looking for great service and assistance with your group health coverage needs. We just finished our Open Enrollment process and it was very simple. We never heard from our previous agent after we signed the contract. We were contacted several times thru the year just to check and see if we had any questions about our benefits. When we had new employees to add they took care of everything! Amazing what a good agent can do.
