I've heard good things about this car dealership and I'm so glad I went to them. I visited twice before purchasing a 2013 Mazda 3. Their prices were lower than anywhere I found online and their cars were all in great condition.
I was nervous to purchase from a dealership but was pleasantly surprised at how easy everything was. There was no pressure from the sales people and they patiently answered all the questions I had. They knew their inventory well and immediately directed me to the cars that fit my criteria without pressure on me to outdo my budget. They let me test drive by myself which I appreciated & allowed me to visit my mechanic for inspection.
When I was ready to purchase they didn't push me to go through their financing which was something that made me uncomfortable with other places in Davis I had visited.
I mentioned that one key fob didn't work and they fixed it before I left the dealership. They hired a glass specialist to come and repair a small chip in the windshield while I was signing the contract after I'd already agreed to buy "as is." I witnessed great customer service and kindness both days I had been at the lot.
The purchase process was smooth and they explained everything each step of the way. They offer a warranty coverage but were not pushy when I declined it. I wanted to drive my new car home so they sent an employee to drive my old car for me and I broght him back after. I had my trade-in ready the next day and they honored the agreement we'd made. They went above and beyond handling some issue that otherwise would have fallen on me.
They are supposed to call me to pick up the license plate when it's ready and the registration should arrive in the mail any day. I will update this review once that's done.
I want to especially thank Ali, Samer and Mohammad who were helpful, professional and friendly throughout this whole process. I would highly recommend this dealership.

I bought a Tesla here two months ago and it was a pretty good experience. When I walked in, they don’t have Tesla inventories yet, but they’re willing to help me find one with good quality. They rarely do EV car research but they spent a lot of time looking for Model Y and finally I got the car within my expectations and even with a cheaper price.
This auto dealership has a good working atmosphere and I really enjoyed the conversation with them, the shop is clean and well organized as well.
Overall, it is a good choice for used cars purchase, they are the guys who are doing things that are truly beneficial for the customers. Please note that it is strongly encouraged to check the dealer’s policies.

Can't really recommend this place, it is your stereotypical shady run down independent dealership. The transaction went well overall and we came to a fair deal, but they covered up a large crack in the front windshield with a dealer sticker and withheld that they only had one keyfob for the vehicle. To hide a window crack with a sticker was a slimy move.

Great experience! I was looking forward to buy a 20k car and here offer me a 2018 Camry, everything including tax, registration, title all for $20k, really recommend this place if you're looking for a good deal car.

The vehicle we test drove reeked of cigarette smoke. I mentioned that the previous owner was a smoker and the sales person tried to convince me it was the odor of detailing chemicals. The car pulled to the left, the braking was spongy and uneven, and the electric windows were funky. From the driver's controls the back windows went down but not up. Not impressed at all!

Mike and Sam are the best! They have a reputation for outstanding quality, honesty, and integrity. I've enjoyed doing business here both times I bought from them. Pricing on the cars and your trade in will be fair, the buying process is easy, and I left with a great deal on my car. Financing was super easy. Got me a better deal than my bank. Thank you so much for being there for my family and I.

Bought a used car at City Auto Center. What l liked about the experience is that neither Sam nor Mike are "pushy sales people" which seems rare in this business. The process was also quite efficient as far as paper work, DMV registration etc goes, which is also a plus. I'd consider this dealer in the future

Wow! I can't believe how wonderful it was for my wife and I to work both Sam and Mike at City Auto Center in Davis, CA. Buying a vehicle could not have been more easy and reasonable for us. Our daughter in college totaled her 2014 VW Jetta and we needed to find her something similar that would be safe and reliable for her. City Auto Center had just got in a 2020 VW Jetta. Priced extremely fair with low miles and still under manufacturer warranty. We contacted City Auto Center and worked with Sam who made everything easy for us right from the beggining. I completed some finance paperwork on-line and was approved within 20 minutes. The next day, making the 40 minute drive from our home, we visited their location and were graciously greeted by Mike, presented the vehicle for closer inspection, took a test drive, signed some additional documents and were on our way. Thank you so much City Auto Center for helping us in our time of need. You helped to eliminate stress from what would normally be an additionally stressful part of our situation. We wish we could give you more stars but... 5 stars is the limit on Yelp. You are now our "go-to" for any new vehicle purchases for our family in the future! Others should definately do the same!!!

My tale isn't positive. I live north of SF. Was interested in a 2013 Xterra on City Auto Center's lot. As soon as i clicked my interest online, Mike called me and encouraged me to test drive it. Said it was a really good vehicle. When I said I'd have to find a friend available last-minute to give me a ride to Davis, Mike said they'd pick up the cost of my Uber or Lyft to take me there. Went today. $134.99 to Davis. Test drove the vehicle. The price was good, but the vehicle wasn't as solid a ride as one i'd driven yesterday. Called my partner. He said we'd return together. I told Mike, who was gracious until i asked about reimbursing me for my ride share. He said, "that's only if you buy the car." Mike, you and I even discussed on the phone who would pay for my return home if i didn't buy. You said, "We'll only pay your way here." You said nothing about your reimbursing only upon purchase. Bad business and even worse ethics. You just lost a sale and gained a social media presence.

Stopped by for a test drive after finding a car on a 3rd party car purchasing platform. Once there the salesman, Sam, didn't try to upsell and the contract drafted was identical to what I was expecting, even a few hundred dollars less! Only crummy part was that when I came to pick the car up the gas tank was at less than 1/4. Back in my days filling up the tank was the norm but no biggie ??♂️

I purchased a vehicle from this dealer in March 2022. As I drove it off the lot the check ev system came on. I didn't sign to have a cooling off period so I felt I was out of luck. Now I know why they were pushing for us to purchase an extended warranty on the car. I think they knew there was a problem with the car. We since went back and got the extended warranty to have the repairs done that it needed. We were asked to not take it in for repairs for a month. We have since taken it into the shop to be repaired and found out that the car was not the model we were told it was. We paid for a higher model then the car really is. Very disheartened by being deceived by this place of business. In response to your reply Sam.We did mention the issue to Mike when returning for the warranty. That's when he asked us to wait to have it taken into the shop.

The car I purchased broke within 4 days of me bringing it home. The engine is bad and the cataletic converters went out. Do not purchase from them
