I was placed here in 95 and in 2003 after my mom passed. worse place ever for kids. Also they treat it like a prison this a prison for kids watch behind closed doors also they don't allow kids to be kids also they mentally abuse people here just a FYI 20 years of counseling cost 36k dollars plus just a perspective

This place let's these kids run around late at night, they don't enforce curfews and don't hold these kids accountable for their actions. The teens are constantly at the convenience store I work and constantly stealing and asking customers to buy them tobacco and alcohol, and verbally abusing and even swinging belts/keys at my coworkers. Someone should investigate the safety of this home.

I was in this home 50 years ago, me and 4 of my siblings. The youngest being only 3 years old, I was 8, and the memories I have of this place, is very horrific. We were put in dark rooms with no windows or light of any kind seems like it lasted for hours or days. because one of us is mistreated, and the other would have to defend the mistreated one. Then they would take our food away. They seemed like monsters to me. I won’t go into everything that happened, but, you get the idea. Honestly, I should have had therapy! I was really surprised to see it still in business. That place did more harm than good, that’s my history on this place.

My parents own corks stop liquor in the parking lot across the street and I have constantly ran into kids from this center out after times they should not be. These kids have also introduced drugs and such into the area, but these are a select few that should not represent all the kids they take care of. I'm aware that kids will get into trouble and won't always be able to be stopped, but the facility should cracking down on this activity.EDIT:over the last three years there has been significant improvement. The kids are not allowed to loiter and very few stay out past midnight like before.

This is a great organization. I had the pleasure of volunteering the other day to get them ready for the holidays. If you would like to give back to the community definitely reach out to them.

Great place to bring toys and kids clothes donations. They are put to a better use here than Salvation Army or Goodwill. The staff and kids totally appreciate it.
