October/ 2/ 2024 this morning I went to find the right color trex and the man on the front desk inside the office, i dont now his name but /Spanish/ was very rude, I asked him a few questions, but he answered as if I was his enemy. I just asked what I was looking for. I had a very bad experience with this store. I will never come here again, and I do not recommend it

I haven't purchased anything from Berco Redwood just yet, but based on their superior customer service, my plan is to purchase custom made lattices from them. I first spoke with Leslie today, who answered my phone call. She is one of the nicest individuals representing a business that I have ever spoken with. She transferred me to Brandon who was patient and extremely helpful. If only everyone in the service industry would understand how important first impressions are. Leslie and Brandon are terrific representatives of Berco Redwood, and that company should be patronized whenever possible, just based on their understanding of how a customer or potential customer should be assisted. Well done Berco Redwood!

After 2 failed Lowe's attempts at getting decking and building materials for a foundation delivered to my house, I finally canceled my order and looked elsewhere. I ended up here and Brandon helped me purchase my product. The product arrived on time and undamaged and I was very happy with the service. I will continue to do relevant projects through this company. My deck is now finished.

Nick’s help was invaluable! We arrived with only 45 min until closing and had some unique fencing needs for a do it home project. I ended up going straight to nick w a list of needs- he verified what we needed had us rung up and the proper items delivered to our car in less than 30 minutes. I can not remember the last time that such great service was provided. Thank you Nick for being awesome!

First time going to a lumber yard not sure really what to expect. I met brandon at the front desk tell him what I'm looking for and he walks me to the fence picket sections and explains all my options and was able to help me price out my project . Thanks

If you buy from Berco, you had better beware or they will screw you over. Check your wood closely or you will get damaged wood. Latest experience: Called Berco on Monday, June 12 to check on 6X6X8 posts (building a pergola). They say no problem, come on in. Drive 18 miles one way, only to find they dont have any. Delt with a service rep named Gustavo C. Showed up, paid, and then Gustavo sent me out to have the folks in the yard load meh wood. Waited, and waited, and waited. Finally, Gustavo comes out and says, sorry we dont have any. They have to get their location off Power Inn to plain and cut the wood, be in on the 13th. Gustavo says he should have it in by 10. I tell them, listen, if they are bringing wood you better tell them not to bring me damaged wood. I am building a pergola, and I paid for premium grade ($135 a post!). Berco tells me they will tell the guys in south sac to pick good wood. Fast forward to 6/13, 10AM comes, no word. 11AM comes, no word. Finally I call and Gustavo tells me the truck from South Sac left, and would be there any time. So, I tell Gustavo I will be there in about an hour. Arrived on the 13th at noon, a full hour after our phone conversation. And, no wood, no truck. Gustavo says truck will be here in 10 min. 15 min later truck drives in, my posts are on top. But then, no one is unloading. I go ask and am told, oh we will unload in about 30 min to which I say, it better be in my truck in 15 or refund me. They get the wood off, and try to load my truck. Whoa, not so fast. I start looking, 5 of the 8 pieces are severely damaged. I mean, huge 3 inch chunks of wood broken off the edges, huge splits in the posts. I tell Gustavo no way. Then he tells me he would just as soon refund me. Fine with me, because I found that Valley Redwood is less than 1/2 mile away. I head there immediately, and within 15 min I am headed home with beautiful posts, and they costs $2 less than Berco. Seriously, check the wood if you buy from Berco because they suck. I will NEVER go there again. This is the third time I have had issues with them. One time I paid $110 for delivery, and they delivered all split and unusable wood and wanted me to pay to return it. I am telling you, there are better options.

Expected a lot— Brandon spent time with me but after 2 calls (and promises) he never got back to me wirh a price for my gate wood. And I called back and a lady (Carmen?) disconnected me. Disappointing

I apologize to the driver for giving him an ear full when I was dissatisfied with everyone leading up to my delivery. Carolina is so out of touch with the rest of the crew that it definitely makes me think about where to go next time I need redwood, but after all the unnecessary BS the guys got my delivery to my driveway by end of day . I would consider Carolina the weak link , I hope I never have to deal with her again
