She priced a bowl at $25.00 then wanted $50.00 when we went to check our. We saw her wipe off the original price! The back room smells horribly of mold. So many better places to spend my money.

Just tried to go in at 3:35 and the second we opened the door the guy told us it was closed. The sign on the door says they're open and the store hours says they should be open. Waste of time.

OMG! The store owner Annie is unbelievably the worst business owner I have ever met. I brought a 100 year old radio/record player a family heirloom. She decided not to buy which was fine but she demand that she carry the radio to car saying I wasnt strong enought but me and my daughter carried it in fine So her n my daughter proceeded to the car and I hear loud crash she DROPPED my antique crack the wood and scraped it upbadly. I was shocked and cried when this lady walked away refusing to pay for damages nor apologized. She made rude comment about it was an accident. What happen to you break you buy! This lady is terrible dont go to her store she had nothing good to say about del paso Heights and the people who live there. Annie you should be ashamed of yourself and Karma will be visiting you. I will be filing a civil suit. BAD BUSINESS..As you can see the damages in pictures.Sincerely, Terri gilbert

Most of the time when I write a negative review, I feel okay about it, but this just feels sad. We went in at the end of Feb 2023 and spotted a stack of china that we wanted to buy. Each piece was marked with a price, but there was also a note offering the whole stack at $200. When you see that in an antique store, usually it means each piece was marked up a little because they don't want to split up the set (even if, like this time, it was just a partial set), and the "lot" price is what the whole pile should sell for. In this case, the per-piece pricing was just a tiny bit under what Replacements(dot)com sells them for. Talking with the owner, we pointed out the lot, and she seemed happy to be selling it. So we brought it up to the front counter and continued looking around the store. She started muttering things like "who priced this?" After a few minutes she asked my girlfriend to come talk about the lot. She claimed the lot price was put out by an assistant she had who wasn't an expert on antiques, and who now no longer works there. She said she would be taking a loss on the lot if she sold it for $200. We're like, um okay, this is weird. She says she could do $250. We tell her we'll think it over, and we continue shopping, and talked it over out of earshot. $250 was approaching the total itemized price of the lot. My girlfriend is saying, at that point, why not just skip it. I know she wants the lot, and I like the pattern so I want it too, but at this point the price swap has us a bit off-kilter. Because that's really just not done. But I wanted to remain clear-headed and not let a little faux pas deter us. Anyway, the owner then had about 15-20 mins to think things through. (Meanwhile, she was following us around and trying to "actively sell" which is something I haven't seen in another antique store)We returned to the counter. We said yes, we still want the set at $250. The owner got a shocked look on her face and exclaimed, "I CAN'T POSSIBLY LET IT GO FOR $250!"We were a little stunned. We moved toward the door. But my girlfriend paused and told her, "I don't understand, you literally ~just said~ you'd do $250." It actually seemed like the owner either didn't remember that offer, or she was too confused and discombobulated to keep her head straight in general. So we left. So here are the possibilities. #1: The owner was telling the truth, and an underqualified assistant wrote a low price for a lot. The owner has a duty to train her helper, or oversee the work, and certainly to review inventory pricing over time. And it's a customer service question at that point: do you honor the price on the tag (which is the legal requirement, of course, but I'm sure you find that unpersuasive), or do you try to meet the customer in the middle and maybe break even on the sale, or do you try to jack it up and make a full profit despite the problems?#2: The owner forgot how much she actually bought the lot for, and it was possible for her to profit at $200, but she made a mistake and thought she bought it for about that price or even higher. I doubt a professional would buy inventory for more than 30% of the retail price, but what do I know. #3: The pricing WAS accurate, but it happened back in 2013 or whatever, and now because of inflation everything is more expensive. The owner looks at the $200 sticker, but her valuation judgement is in the 2023 market, and thinks it should have been $300 instead. And then, instead of her brain immediately taking responsibility for not re-pricing over time, she instantly blames an old assistant, because it's human nature to preserve our internal mythologies. I'm going to be generous and for Possibility #3 I'll assume the price adjustment happened because the owner isn't updating pricing and isn't thinking clearly, rather than an intentional bait-and-switch. I didn't get scam vibes, I got "she should probably retire" vibes.

This is a small antique shop with a ton of goodies. The kind of antique store that lets you dig into the nooks and crannies. Not overly staged for beauty. A treasure trove. Mostly China, beautiful glass and kitchen ware. Some furniture. Vintage clothes and just fun oddities. The owner is gracious & caring.

I highly recommend visiting Antique Annie's! Annie was so friendly and helpful. Her prices are very reasonable and the items that she has are nice! She has a whole Pyrex/Corning Ware section. The store is physically small, but there are tons of great things to look at. Go visit Annie's! Great and reasonable priced antique shop in Sacramento. (Others are *very* pricey).

I'm a new business owner in the area and went in to introduce myself. There was an unpriced set of books that I asked about, and was told by the gentleman behind the counter that I could have them for $10. I went back to my shop to get my wallet and returned to buy the books. The woman who was in there when I returned refused to honor the price I was told less than an hour before. I love vintage and antiques, both my parents are collectors! and as another business owner on the boulevard, I WOULD have been an incredible customer, now I will never return.

My 4yr acted as if she had already knew Annie. Annie is a beautiful older woman with so many amazing items I just wish I had some money to spend there instead of selling my antique sterling silver arrowhead with turquoise stones for $10!! But other then that neat place to visit
