Filled with cool cryptic and mystic items. Many named with sources, ethical origins for anything sold. Incredibly unique and unusual items.l, including a huge antique part of a church pulpit and many antique taxidermy items. A must visit for any witches and spellcasters, or collectors of the strange and unusual!

Always an amazing experience at the Altar Room. Such an amazing and eclectic collection! Plus I was able to get the biggest abalone shell I've ever seen for a reasonable price. My favorite metaphysical space in Sac.

This place was so amazing, the owner was so friendly and had great advice and answered my questions with such knowledge and her display of unique items was such an amazing site I highly recommend this shop to anyone I'll definitely be coming back here and attending the future events that the owner puts on! -Melody

Amazing items inside. Attended my first event, "bruja brunch" thinking the event would have something to do with a part of my culture that I don't get many chances to interact with. The bruja part was just a hook to get people's attention. I would kindly ask that if the owners are going to use any cultural specific hooks like bruja or Voodoo or Hoodoo brunch, class, whatever, they respect the people of those [in some instances] closed practices and invite an actual practitioner. No one during the event paraded around and claimed to be a bruja or promoted anything as a bruja that I heard. It was a great event with great food and drinks, so I am happy to come back as long as this small criticism is considered and applied moving forward. An actual brunch with a bruja would have been amazing and I'm sad to have missed out on that chance even though the event and the people there were amazing and I hope to see and support them all again in the future.

Beautiful, mesmerizing and educational. Shasta is a wealth of knowledge. So many things to see and buy. I've gone back over and over and still see something new every time. A gem in Sacramento for anyone into witchcraft or spirituality or both. A++
