Action Security came out and installed a system two years ago. They did a phenomenal job, both Jim and the professionals who came out on several occasions to configure & service the equipment. They were helpful, courteous, and available at a moment's notice. Superb team. However, I am giving a one star review for the nature of the contracts that must be signed for service. Jim -- I hope you step away from connecting your clients with Safe Home Security as the actual security service provider. Dealing with Safe Home Security has been an absolute nightmare: they have no website you can login to view your account, manage payment activity, or do anything that you'd normally expect with a modern service provider. Further, if you move to a new city like San Francisco, can't afford a million-dollar home, you are fully responsible for the 90% of the balance of your FIVE-YEAR CONTRACT which for me equates to well over one thousand dollars to end my monthly payments. No exceptions, no suspended contracts, no alternatives: pay monthly for five years or terminate but pay anyway. Safe Home Security is a business with predatory cancellation practices, forced arbitration (meaning you can't take them to court), and the language in their contracts is entirely focused on what clients can or cannot do -- nothing in their contract language is friendly to you, it is written entirely to shift accountability and responsibility away from their company and onto their customer. These types of contracts should be outlawed, and are disgusting. Jim, I'll gladly update this to a five star review if you confirm you no longer do business with Safe Home Security.
