I am so happy my son was able to spend a year of his life at Acorn to Oak (A2O). We would recommend it to anyone. Unfortunately we are moving out of the city and can no longer have our son attend. Some of the highlights of A2O:Communication: A2O is extremely open in their communication. From school updates, to safety measures to the daily activities. They always keep me up to date. I probably check the app too much but it is always nice to see when he eats, when he naps, how much he ate, and all the fun photos.Learning/Development: At A2O my son went from crawling to walking and even said some of his first words at A2O. They always have fun age appropriate activities, music circles, and outdoor play.Teachers: We love them so much, they are all very friendly and the passion for their work shines through. At the end of each day they go over the highlights of the day or any of the milestones they are working on with our son.

We started our daughter in Acorn and Oak when she was 6 months old and I cannot say enough positive things. The teachers and Francesca and Isobel are the most amazing people and though it was a struggle for me to let someone else care for our child they were so kind and understanding. Our daughter loved it there and I always knew she was in the best hands. They are so responsive to messages and post pics/ give real time updates. Even the babies do special activities and art projects. We had to leave them unfortunately as we moved out of the area but it is so difficult to adjust to a new school as Acorn and Oak was the absolute best. I would 100% recommend Acorn and Oak and hope they open another facility closer to us as we would sign up immediately! We love you Acorn and Oak ?

I spent the past year working at Acorn to Oak and only left because I moved overseas. The moment I walked through the front gate at Acorn to Oak (A2O) and was greeted by Francesca and Isobel, I knew it was a really special place. We then went on a tour of the school, and I saw the beautifully decorated classrooms and the amazing outside play spaces and yards. I knew then that I wanted to be a part of this school and was so thrilled to be hired to be a teacher at A20.While at Acorn to Oak, I worked with a team of three other teachers, and it was really wonderful how we shared the classroom duties and responsibilities so harmoniously. My co-workers in all of the other classes were truly wonderful and had such a gift for teaching young children. The overall environment at the school is nurturing, caring and inclusive. Francesca and Isobel are two of the most kind and understanding bosses that I have ever had. They truly care about their staff, the families and the incredible children that are a part of Acorn to Oak. It was such a pleasure to work for this lovely school! I always looked forward to going to work each day during my time at A2O! I am a mid-career professional and I can truly say that this is one the best places that I have ever worked.

I had the honor and privilege of working at Acorn to Oak, Sacramento's special gem of a nursery and preschool. From the moment you walk onto the campus, you immediately get drawn in. The gorgeous environment, enriching materials and peaceful atmosphere make this school one of a kind. Francesca and Isobel as directors are both so special and amazing, they always go over and beyond for their staff and community. I would always look forward to going to work everyday knowing that I got to work alongside a wonderful group of teachers and families in the Arden-Arcade community. I look forward to seeing where they go from here and would definitely recommend anyone interested in working here or having a child attend this wonderful campus.

This is a magical place! I worked at acorn to oak since they opened and recently had to say good-bye. I do not exaggerate when I say that Francesca and Isobel have created the most amazing space where children can be their happiest self. They are inclusive, kind, and generous. A2O has an outdoor space fitting for all the adventures that your child needs! Children learn best when they are happy and you'll notice this right away if you tour. From singing children , to children collecting treasures as they count , or paint with the nature around them. This place has all of the above. As a teacher I felt supported and inspired. The teachers are creative, understanding, and attentive. The entire A2O team is amazing!!

I have nothing but glowing reviews for Acorn to Oak! Both my daughters attend (one started at 6 months, the other at 2.5 years). Francesca and Isobel are a refreshing combination of professional, friendly, and passionate about this place. They’ve created a beautiful space. My daughters spend most of their days outside, doing lots of fun, messy, exciting play. Their teachers are gems - we adore them. It’s the sort of place where you walk in and breathe a sigh of relief for having found a place where your babies can be cared for. Both girls have grown in such positive ways since starting! We love the healthy snacks included, the ease of using the Brightwheel app (and getting fun pics throughout the day), and all the natural and simple play items.

Francesca and Isobel have created a beautiful play space for children in Sacramento. The yard and classrooms are uncluttered and the children thrive in the natural environment. Sacramento really needed a premiere program, and Acorn to Oak is it.

We love Acorn to Oak! We drop our 4 month old off every week day knowing he is in safe and caring hands. Such a beautiful, calm, and nurturing learning environment that has allowed his development to flourish. His teachers are so positive and keep us updated throughout the day with information and pictures. We couldn't ask for a better daycare!
