I avoid the place as much as possible because of the unwanted advances of one male (white) cashier. He refuses to call me by my name after I show obvious dislike of his pet names. He behaves this way under the guise of being a "friendly neighbor".A few times he's been downright disgusting in his advances. I give this market two stars instead of one because I noticed they have improved a lot in their food selection. I also appreciate the community food exchange out in front as lots of residents can use the assistance. The majority of staff are ok but but because of the lech I go elsewhere as much as possible.

Nice market had most of the time what you look for even though it's small , only downer are prices but most people working there are friendly . It's clean all the time and organizes it's a huge plus there and one of the few mini stores that convenient in you're staying around the area. Hours of operation are also convenient .

Convenient place to stop for snacks, drinks, ice or mostly anything you need to get by. Behind the counter they are pretty fast and well aware of their inventory. Wanna make a sandwich? Stop by the Village Market in Running Springs and grab some bread, spread through yourself together a BLT. YES, They have bacon too. There is plenty of parking as well.

Prices here are so over-priced at this small local store over all. For example, soups that are normally $2.99 are $4.99 a 200% markup. This business practice should be reported and regulated by the better business burial. Taking advantage to those who are local that live here and maybe to visitors that are not aware of other grocery stores within the area are completely taken advantage of. Shame on The Village Market for price gouging.

The food, service the ambience is all so pleasant. Like going to a grocery store from days gone by. Everyone is so helpful and the quality and variety is as good as any large grocery store. Their prices are comparable with Luckys and it is my first choice when I have to go shopping!

A much bigger variety of "everything" than I anticipated. Quick and friendly customer service. Typical prices for the area. I think my husband and I will be making this one of our regular quick-stops for all our random needs.
